This place has good atmosphere. It's mostly outside, on the pier. Great view of the water. There was live music while we were there, and that was fun. Mostly families hanging out, relaxing. The menu was larger then I expected, but food was just mediocre....More

I've been coming down to the OBX for about 20 years and Fish Heads has vaulted into my favorites right away while being brand new. While the food selection is fairly limited, the service/price/location is awesome. My girlfriend and I were down for one week...More

Great location on a fishing pier. Burger and dog were good. Great beer selection. Our new favorite lunch spot in Nags Head

They have steamed shrimp from 4:00 to 6:00 for like 16 cents a piece. The shrimp were delicious. They had music. It was a happening place. We were just here for Happy Hour. We had a great waitress. We would definitely go here again.

This place never disappoints. The atmosphere is gorgeous, the beer is always cold, the food menu continues to develop, the live music is always swaying the deck, and the staff is always kind. My wife and I love this place and will continue coming back!

No, I don't believe you can. They are allowed on the beach though and there is a picnic table on the right before you walk into Fish Heads that people have gotten carry out and sat and ate with their dogs there.
