We stopped for lunch at J. Arthur's and it was fine. The service was friendly and efficient and the food was tasty, although nothing really stood out. This is a good place for a nice meal and we would try them again.

I ordered Chicken Parmigiana over pasta. The Presentation looked great. The chicken was breaded and fried. This was the best part of the meal. The pasta (Angle Hair) was over cooked and the "sauce" tasted like crushed tomatoes right out of the can. Not seasoned and no favor. For the salad, I requested Italian dressing. it came out with just... More

The service was great and very attentive. The food was mostly average (nothing was wrong just not of the chart or above average) in the dishes we ordered, except the French Onion Soup. Although, the French Onion Soup was prepared differently than I am accustomed to, it was still very good. The atmosphere of the fireplace added to the quaint... More

We eloped in a beautiful private ceremony at Timberwolf Creek, and we chose J Arthur's as our wedding night dinner location. It was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere was lovely, service was excellent, and the food was perfectly prepared and delicious. Our only regret is that we only got to eat there once during our stay. Highly recommend!

New to the area, we chose J Arthur's for a fine dinner. The restaurant is very nice and we were greeted warmly at the door. Our waiter was Kale (sp?) who was splendid. He joked around with us and gave us descriptions of any of the food preps. Good job, Kale! Three of the four meals were fine. We especially... More

Eaten here many times over the years and always enjoyed. Filet and ribeyes used to be amazing. However, steak quality has diminished (over cooked, flavorless) and way too pricey. Try another of their delicious entrees.

Sorry you were disappointed by the steaks. We pride ourselves on purchasing the best in beef, which of course, is costly for us. Next time, just let us know as we always want to make sure your happy and will do whatever we have to to make it right! More

This was by far the best place that I've eaten at in a very long time. The cheesesticks were to die for and they were homemade. The fish was cooked perfect and everything else was delicious. So dang good!

Very disappointed!!! If I am going to pay $20 to $30 for a steak I would expect some flavor. I ordered the Prime Rib and the only taste was from the horseradish sauce, which I had to ask for. The edges were hard and dry. The salad consisted of lettuce, 1 slice of tomato and croutons. I think some cukes,... More
