What a wonderful spot to eat..I had the tuna app and the shrimp and grits (recommended by the show diners, drive in's and dives.).. no dive!.. my husband had the filet - it melted in your mouth.. I got the small portion so I'd have room for dessert - chocolate lava cake..just delish! Thursday nights half off a bottle of wine..could... More

We have been coming down to the Outer Banks for years and always make the brewing station a must stop every time. We just enjoyed another great visit on Tapas Thursday with a Peruvian theme. We tried 5 of the 6 tapas and absolutely loved each one. My favorite was the steamed mussels and the pork belly sliders. The staff... More

Off season for this tourist spot, but it's certainly one of the best times of the year to visit. The Outer Banks Brewing Station is a nice year round spot to spot for a drink and a bit to eat. The restaurant is inviting with a rustic beach style decor, with nice views of the local scene. The staff is... More

Had found this place on tripadviser - my husband likes to go to brew pubs and try different beers. It is supposedly America's first wind powered brew pub - there is a big windmill outside. We went in the early evening and it was still very warm meaning many mosquitos about - however the restaurant has a double entry doo... More

Went with husband and 2 kids - ages 11 and 9. Great atmosphere and food was amazing! Had the Yard Bird - loved it. Was disappointed the Peanut butter bomb and Key lime Cheesecake were out of stock as this was for my 40th birthday meal and we had all planned on getting desserts. Ended up skipping desserts and just... More

We stopped in while we were down for a wedding vendor weekend, and it was great. We typically stay in Corolla, but were staying in KDH, and stumbled upon this place. The appetizers were delish and so was the beer.

Wanted a lighter fare after heavy, "gourmet" meals, this was just the place for us. Nice variety of pub food and upscale offerings, wide variety of beers, many of which are brewed on site, nice selection of libations served in flights if you want variety, good for family and groups.

Friendly, casual with a full bar, but try a flight/sampler of their latest beers. Bartender was excellent, helpful in describing beers. Husband had wings, excellent and really enough for two. I had the calamari, fresh and excellent also. If you're driving, as we were, get a growler to take back home.

If you're going to use wind power this is certainly a likely place. The owners worked long and hard to place a windmill in this historic location of flight, but it was worth it. What a great idea! The four of us are great beer lovers and this place came recommended by friends. We all had samplers to try more... More

We stopped her for lunch on Sunday because it was right next to the Wrights Brothers Memorial and boy are we glad we did. We were seated immediately right next to the stage where two young girls were playing and singing. We really enjoyed the music and it wasn't too loud to interfere with our conversation. It's a brewery so... More

Our staff at the Outer Banks Brewing Station works hard to give our Outer Banks vacation guests and Outer Banks local guests the best possible service. We are the first wind-powered brewery in the United States. Our innovative menus change with the seasons and include something for everyone. We feature pork and beer specials along with a seafood and meat special every night. Our Outer Banks restaurant features live music in the backyard and almost every night after dinner in the summer months. The backyard, where the wind turbine is, features a beer truck, corn hole, a picnic table-style seating area with a pirate ship playground for the kids! Come relax and kick back with some brews and let the kids play on the playground! Our beer rotation is constantly changing and we brew special beers all year long. We hope to see you here soon!
