Dependable consistent food. Good. Not great. Service is always good, but food quality could be better. Great people, but owners could upgrade the quality of their meats. Would happily pay more for better product.

Normally we love Carter Brothers, but this was NOT a good experience! Slow service, luke warm food, cold tater tot, no drink refills, we ordered cake at the same time as our meals, but never received them and after it was apparent the server wasn't...More

Went there Monday night and haven't been there in a while and was shocked to find out they did fresh flounder and shrimp. I ordered a combo platter and just wow... it was amazing.... my only problem is which pudding to choose from, Oreo or...More
We had a quick dinner at Carter Brothers and it was fantastic! We chose to dine in and the staff was so friendly and accommodating, it was like they were hosting you in their own houses. The food was delicious; traditional barbecue meats and sides....More
Went to have breakfast which I love their Big Daddy Biscuits and coffee. I have eaten here ever since they opened up around 2000. Their rotisserie chicken, with hush puppies and slaw are wonderful too.
We ate at Carter Brothers again tonight, and my wife had the Thursday Special of beef tips and rice, hushpuppies, fried apples and fried okra. It was good, but not extraordinary. I had french fries and they were the zig-zag cut kind, crispy on the...More
Went with my wife on a Saturday night, had no trouble being seated. Very friendly server, a good representative for the restaurant. While the menu has both barbecue and other items, I wanted to try the main attraction, so I got a chopped bbq platter...More
