Get the three flavor fish. Listen to me; order the three flavor fish. Add the Thai tea, along with lighter beverage of normal tea or water. Molly, the American spelling for her Thai name, tells that these dishes are legit Thai foods from her youth there. I was at a "Japanese" restaurant once, in mountains of USA; serviced by a... More

This is a cozy restaurant with great service and great food. Have never been disappointed over many meals. Molly, the owner, is quite personable and eager to please her customers.

A "Piece of Heaven" in Hickory, NC :) SUCH an incredibly cozy, comfortable, warm, welcoming ambiance. I am originally from Maryland, but moved to Huntersville, NC in the Lake Norman area in 2006, however my boyfriend has lived in Hickory all of his life and he never even knew about this "hidden gem" . i have ALWAYS loved Thai food.... My husband and I love Thai, so we were thrilled to find this gem. Everything we've tried has been very flavorful and lived up to expectations. The service is also friendly and top notch. We highly recommend!

We eat here several times a week. The food is to die for. It is so Delicious. We have never gotten anything but top rate food & service. Their food is always prepared from scratch, always fresh, & always delicious. I have eaten at several Thai Restaurants but this one is the Best. My whole family loves eating there.

I recently had lunch at Thai Lotus and found the food very good and very plentiful. The service was very expeditious and pleasant; the servings were huge. My leftovers were enough for two additional lunches. My guest was a young man, and he found his curry delicious. I recommend this little restaurant that is most unassuming on the outside, but... My wife and I stop when we travel through Hickory. We always get the chicken massaman. It is incredible. Made with coconut milk, carrots, onions, potatoes, and peanuts. It's basically a stew type dish. It has such a rich flavor. It's a family run business, very nice ppl.

I really cannot say enough good things about this place. The atmosphere is quite and relaxed, the staff extremely friendly and helpful, and the food was fantastic. I foun the portion of food served to be more than enough (I took half of mine home and it was lunch the next day). I definitely recommend this place to anyone.

They don't have the loud crowd, that's what attracted us to continue patronizing. Food taste fresh. Laid back atmosphere and food will be prepared the way you'd want it. The only thing I could say negative would be they need bigger glassed.
