Yuck. Filthy. Food not so good. Its an old restaurant that is trying to succeed. I really think it is closed now.

I love the white sauce on my burito bravo with grilled chicken And the fried tortilla with honey for dessert hold the cool whip The staff is always on it They always welcome us back and know our favorite spot to sit It great on a budget and the sofas are really tasty. More so than others. Most have their... More

We were greeted by a friendly but toothless caucasion waitress, who YELLED "Ya'll have a seat" as we walked in to a restaurant with only 1 other table of 4 occupied. A quick look at the menu was our first indication that this was definitely more American than Mexican. The salsa tasted like a blend of canned diced tomatoes and... More

Maybe the only Mexican eatery I have visited with an all gringo staff. Food is ok and prices are very good. Service, on my visit, was poor. Decor is eye candy.

Terrible doesn't do the food justice at Max's. We recently ate supper at Max's. There was six people in our group and everyone ordered something different. No one was pleased at all with the food. We ordered the cheese dip as a starter and that too was not very good. I can honestly say this is probably some of the... More

The last few times we've been here the food has been mediocre at best. Just not good. Salsa is out of a jar and the sour cream is horrible. Lots of authentic Mexican restaurants around here, if Mexican is what you want then go to one of those.

The food described on the menu did not match the end product. I ordered the nopal very disappointed. No real Mexican ingredients. It wasn't bad overall but now I know. The waitress was friendly. But I won't be back

For me there is something about the red sauce they put over their dishes. To me it taste like the sauce is Chef Boy Arde cans. The meat quality seemed fatty. The overall restaurant is small and cramped. It wasn't dirty, just small.

This place is staggeringly bad. The salsa is clearly either Sysco brand or some store brand crap, zero flavor- basically a can of Campbell's tomato soup. I paid $9 for a terrible chimichanga that had MAYBE 1/3 lb of chicken in it, and some cheese- no onions, peppers, beans, rice... anything. Came out 30 minutes after I ordered it, crushed... More
