This is a lovely place to eat breakfast or brunch, or to stop in the afternoon for a slice of cake or pie or a box of muffins. We started at the top of the menu with the blueberry pancakes, which were the fluffiest ever,...More

We stopped in for birthday cake and coffee. The owner is friendly and the cake and coffee are very good. There is a lovely deck outside when the weather is nice. Don't expect a bill at the table. There is no discussion of money while...More

Fantastic deserts. The best in the Asheville area. Head and shoulders above McFarlan's Bakery on Main Street in Hendersonville. Nice deck out back and would be a great place for a wedding shower.

Thank you, Merri for your attention to detail and the very reasonable price you charged for my daughter's beautiful (and delicious!) wedding cake. We received many compliments on how tasty it was and of course, my daughter and son in law were thrilled with how...More

I am really surprised that this restaurant is rated #1. It is really just ok. The building is old and the ceiling was leaking which made the whole place feel a bit damp. The waffles were just ok. I feel that the waffles I make...More

Dear Customer, You neglected to mention that you were inquiring regarding a tea party for your four year old daughters birthday party. Four year old children cannot sit comfortably in our chairs and I was concerned that I could not adequately care for a tea...More

This is an unassuming little place from the outside, but quite comfortable and a bit unusual for the area on the inside. We tried the "Crepes", which were actually very thin and rolled pancakes. We have enjoyed crepes in many places and these did not...More

We are sorry that you were not pleased with the crepes. We have never had a complaint before and even visiting Europeans enjoy them. I am sending the breakfast chef, Mr. Tyndall's recipe. He has never used leavening in the crepes. Perhaps you and others...More
