Smithfield's has very good bbq sandwiches and great fries. The tea is very good, I always get half sweet tea and half unsweetened. Ask for bbq sauce to go with your sandwich.
Restaurant was recently reopened following a closure of about 5 months due to being rebuilt. They, by far, have the most wonderful employees who provide exceptional customer service! I was so happy to discover my favorite clerk at the drive through had been promoted to a management position! Food is superb and they are most efficient with getting customers in... More
Smithfields delivers on excellent BBQ, and, compared to restaurants like Sonny's, it gives you more bang for your buck. My wife is also a sweet tea fan and loves Smithfields. Don't forget to ask for BBQ sauce since they tend to forget to ask if you want any. All in all, a great establishment with tasty BBQ.
Love coming Here. BBQ and Shrimp Plate is my Wife's Favorite and mine is the Shrimp Plate. As for the side dishes, there are a variety to choose form that you cant go wrong with.
If you are a fan of NC vinager based BBQ this is the place for you. Their BBQ sandwich comes with the slaw on it so if you don,t like it that way you have to tell them. Nice people and good food.
Smithfield's Chicken 'n BBQ continues to be one of our favorites especially when the weather gets colder. We order the tailgate special and take it home to enjoy while watching a football game. The meal comes with a gallon of sweet tea. My favorite is the Brunswick Stew.
What you'd expect from this chain. Good mass produced southern food. Wait Staff greets you with a smile and a "how can I help you sweetie" Food is fast and warm.
