There is always homemade desserts. Their pies are good. The service can be a little slow but the food comes out fast. This is nice little local diner which is tucked away... More

Service was not good. Took 45 min to get a bowl of soup. We only had an hour for lunch. Waitress had too many tables to adequately take care of everyone.

The potatoes were a little bland and needed salt, but the grits were hot and homemade. Coffee was good. The atmosphere was from yesteryear right down the fact that virtually the entire 9AM Saturday morning crowd had white... More

The food is cooked beyond recognition. The place is filthy, I saw a roach in the bathroom. I will never go there again.

My wife and I stopped in because of the sign for homemade desserts and to get out of the afternoon heat in a recent visit to Elizabeth City and were pleasantly surprised by the selection and quality of homemade desserts that they offered. We decided on Banana Pudding and Blueberry Cobbler with ice cream - both were very yummy and... More

Hubby and I took a chance on this place while passing thru E-City. I had the BBQ plate with slaw and spinach. It was all very tasty and well seasoned. BBQ pork was exceptional. Hubby had vegetable soup, grilled chicken salad with a side of steamed cabbage--all very good. But the best part was the basket of cornbread and yeast... More
