You cannot find a better place. The sushi is excellent as well as the traditional dishes. Fresh ingredients and great service!

poor lighting; dirty tacky curtains; rude Japanese ppl; and the worst sushi.. The place needs an upgrade.

This is our favorite restaurant in Elizabeth City. The lunch box specials are delicious and the prices are fantastic! You won't leave hungry. Service is excellent-friendly and informative.

They might've had the best sushi I've ever tasted. The atmosphere is quiet and pleasant, the selections are good --you can get sushi or sashimi and a variety of lunch boxes.

Having spent 2.5 years in Japan it was great to see some of our favorite foods, we also spent 3 years in Okinawa and appreciate good Japanese food. we had our three daughters with us who grew up eating a variety of Asian foods while in the far east.

We like to eat sushi occasionally and luckily Elizabeth City has a real good place for that! Who knew? We have dined here several times in the past year and we were always satisfied with the service and quality of the food. There is a large board with specials and 'custom' rolls. Yep, they'll make a custom roll with ingredients... More

A superb Japanese restaurant, minimalism is their style inside, it fits the yummy Japanese cuisine... The chicken yakisoba is too good to be true, the sushi is fresh, the staff is there when they should be, friendly as well... Try the chicken fried rice, the fried rice isn't soaked in soy sauce or greasy, just hot and delicious. I have... More

Having Japanese food was very common in our home while growing up (Japanese stepdad), that said I feel pretty confident saying that this is not great nor is it excellent sushi....its just plain average. Do not get me wrong people, I did enjoy my food (lunch with hubby) and would probably eat here again, but I've had better. I do... More
