Ernesto and his staff at Del Rancho Mexican Grill are the best! We had a special catering order for 200 guests. We ordered chicken enchiladas, cheese enchiladas, rice, and chips and salsa. Everything was cooked perfectly and was piping hot at pick up. We didn't...even need the sternos to keep the food hot for the event. Their staff helped us carry the food out and loaded up the car. Our guests raved about the food. Everything was so tasty and fresh. I loved the cheese enchiladas myself, but all was really good. The rice was fresh and nicely seasoned. The chips are made in-house and perfectly crispy. I wish i could buy a bottle of salsa. It's that good. From kids to adults, we saw a lot of empty plates and smiling faces at our school event. I rate Del Rancho 5 stars and highly recommend them for yummy food and excellent service. Thanks for your top-notch takeout and catering services.More

never going back

I've had issues with this place in the past but it's close to the house so my husband wanted to dine here last night. About half way through our meal, a roach walked down the wall right next to the table. We promptly got up,...went to the register, paid for our meals and left, vowing NEVER to return.More

unexpected

Ordered this thru UberEats. There was lots of food and tasty. With much disappointments in the past UberEats orders, this one was a winner. Will order again.

Many Unique Options with more than fair prices

Not just the usual Mexican fare. Try the El Mocajete or the stir fry inside a real pineapple! This place at the end of a strip mall is a little haven of goodness and friendly service. As well as tacos, burritos and quesadillas there are...some house specialties that you cannot find anywhere else. The staff is friendly and accomodating; any one of them will help you or bring something. They deal well with picky "gringos" as I have overheard many specific and complicated instructions, including someone asking for a quesadilla WITHOUT CHEESE. The wait staff is easy on the eyes as well.More

Wonderful dinner at Del Rancho new location on 9th St. Outstanding guacamole!

Just discovered our new go-to place for Mexican in Durham. We began our dinner with fresh and flavorful guacamole-- served with warm chips. Choose the fresh option- it's worth it and very reasonably priced. We enjoyed the enchiladas de camaron and quesadilla fajitas as our...entrees and highly recommend both. We will definitely be back!More

Tasts Like Real

Didn't expect much from a restaurant in a strip mall, but the food was excellent. So was the service. Prompt attention to requests from the customer seemed to be the basic theme of the place. The food was served hot, not the usual medium warm...I expected, and was very tasty. I highly recommend Del Rancho for Mexican food lovers.More

Nice Greeter.. Lousy Food
