Oh gosh - how to describe it here?! Quirky, Charming, Laid Back, Tranquil, Upscale Country Store that happens to sell food related merchandise AND serve amazing food!!! Lots of seating - some amongst the merchandise - some outside - lots in the back room. Also lots of parking!! You have to order your food first at the counter, then they... More

Had lunch here twice, and would happily return! All their food is homemade, and they offer ample portions for reasonable prices. Their menu ranges from breakfast to full meals, with wraps & sandwiches, too. Their homemade HUGE desserts are worth saving room! They offer outside dining, some under shade & some in the sun, plus inside dining, as well as... More

This is an old standby for the Duke crowd and it seems to be crowded anytime you go. Salads and sandwiches are the main fare and are quite large. Desserts are also exceptional and not to be missed. Parking can be a problem.

Got some sort of black bean casserole/lasagna. Wasn't bad but not one of the best meals I've ever had. I'll give them another try next time in Durham. Hard to describe. Something of a cross between a deli and a Cracker Barrel. Outside seating available. Worth a stop if you're passing by.

A great place for a weekend brunch . Nice variety of brunch items but the highlights are the side dishes and DESSERTS. Wonderful selection of attractive , and delicious desserts. Favorites are Tres Leche, Boston Creme pie and Carrot cake.

We visited this location many times during our grad school days in Durham. It has expanded since then, gotten much more chaotic, but retained the tasty victuals. The BLT with scrambled eggs on top was awesome and hit the spot, my son's Rueben was also very good. The negatives: (1) clean and refurb the bathrooms. It is quite gross and... More

My wife had a recommendation on this place and they were right. The BLT sandwich was wonderful. It was understandably crowded, but the staff were on it and efficient. Would definitely recommend if in the area.

I love this place. I've been here twice for breakfast. You order at the counter and the people taking the orders are so patient and have no trouble individualizing the meals and explaining the layout of the restaurant. Coffee and milk in the front, cold drinks and cold brewed coffee in the back. The food is fresh and delicious and... More

We went for breakfast - 7 adults, 1 infant. Variety of selections from cinnamon roll, scrambled eggs, sausage, toast, muffins, grits bowls (delicious with black beans and buttery grits, a fried/hard scrambled egg on top, pico-de-gallo and shredded cheese. Everything was delicious. Only exception to "perfection" were the not-crispy potatoes; good portion, tasty, just not crispy as advertised. Plenty of... More

Very good service, very good food, nice presentation. Plenty of outside eating area, not too many places to sit inside. Should have waitresses and bus boys with how crowded the place gets as you have to wait in line to order your food. Hence, very crowded inside and some what nerve racking. Lesson to learn is don't go there on... More
