We went for lunch on Valentines Day. I love the decor here and the interesting layout with the bar and kind of front and back restaurant area. Feels large and substantial but also intimate. Service was excellent with a very attentive waitress. Great bread, oil etc and then a right-sized portion of the Calamari starter with really fresh and tasty... More

Parizade is a Mediterranean restaurant with excellent service and menu. I happened to be there during Durhams restaurant week, and went with the fixed price pick three offering. The pork cheek cassoulet was an excellent start, not something I would generally order but I was feeling adventurous and was rewarded for it. For my main course I had the braised... More

Looks nice when you walk in. That's where it ends. Ordered Mojito to start dinner. 5 minutes later: "Sorry, we can't make you a Mojito". Ok............... So I ordered a beer: Stella Artois, off the menu. 2 minutes later: Sorry, we have no more. We just sold our last ones. Ok................. So I ordered another beer. It came. Hurrah. Then... More

My family and I went Parizade for the first time. Our age range is between 12 and 70, but Everyone of us enjoyed it. The ambiance is great, food is fantastic and service was very good. I think the restaurant suits any occasions. In fact, I saw some young couples and some group of seniors. It is worth to try... More

Food was quite well prepared - good wine selection - decent service. Could have earned an extra star were it not for the fact that they did not bring us the Restaurant Week menu until we asked for it, and then it took a while to "find it". Thought that was a bit odd! Two of us then ordered from... More

While visiting Duke University for the weekend and already having my fill of the local BBQ we decided on Cafe Parizade for our Saturday night out. We made our reservation for 7:30 and we showed up at 7:25 right on time. When we entered the restaurant there were 18 people standing there waiting for tables and I thought who really... More

We visited Cafe Parizade during Restaurant Week and, as always, the food was delicious and the service wonderful. Igor (General Manager) and his staff do a great job. They are always knowledgeable and attentive. The food is always delicious, regardless of the dish we order. For Restaurant Week, in addition to their normal menu, they offered a $30 fixed price... Visited with a group of 8 and although they were fairly busy (but not full) the service was just a little ...off. That aside the food was pretty good but at this price level its what you would expect. Might have gotten 4 stars if the service were on a par with the food. Not sure I would rush back... More

Despite the weather and many restaurant closings, Cafe Parizade was open and serving its special kind of deliciousness! A broad selection of wine by the glass and bottle gave a range of price and vintage options. After predinner cocktails, we enjoyed a light and crisp pear and endive salad with the viniagrette a clean complement to the spiciness of the... More
