If you like waiting for your ingredients, then cooking your own food & paying for it, this is the place for you. Nice ambience, food tasted good, but this is not the kind of restaurant I'd go back to. The vegetables were fresh and the quantity was satisfying.

Came here with my daughter, my friend and her daughter before we went to DPAC for Cinderella. I thought it was a fun place....especially for kids. Cheese course was great, main course also good (even though I thought it could have used a little more meat added to the portion sizes). We ordered desert as well....if you are here you... More

I wanted this restaurant to be better than the chain with similar offerings. Sadly, it was not. The items to dip in the cheese course included potatoes, which were allegedly pre-cooked, and carrots. Both were inedible. The main course fondue was not served at a high enough temperature - meats had to cook about twice as long as the suggested... More

For the price you can't beat it. You get the cheese fondue, a salad then your dinner fondue. What a relaxing atmosphere. I was there for two hours and if someone was with me it probably would have been longer. Would highly recommend.

We drove over an hour round trip to have a special brunch only to find out that no one decided to show up and open the restaurant. Their website, door sign and phone message all say they are open for brunch at 11:30 but no one was there. We ran into another couple who said this was the second time... More

This restaurant was one I visit on the Durham Food Tour. The owner was very informative and enthusiastic about his love for fondue. We got to sample the chocolate fondue with fruits and sweets, it was delicious.

Great ambiance (really enjoyed the music.) Typical fondue experience, but the local combinations were a nice touch. Service was friendly, though it was strange our waiter didn't really know the menu well. Said he'd been there three years and only tried one of the five fondue preparations. I also asked for an interesting tequila cocktail and was served a margarita... More

Our first visit to this place is a Sunday Brunch. It's a three course meal with a Cheese fondue or granola yogurt parfait first. We had the fondue with lovely fresh bread, apples. carrots, grapes and broccoli. It was five stars. Second course was either salad, soup or quiche. I chose the potato artichoke soup with was smooth and tasted... More

The last trip to Little Dipper we raved about the server, service and how knowledgeable our server was. He told us to get the private table for our anniversary. We reserved just that a week ago and verified twice by phone that we would have that table and they would not put anyone at the only table nearby. Well, not... More
