I knew we were in trouble the minute we walked in. The restaurant was dirty, unpainted, smelled and dark. It looks as though the owners opened a run down business and could not afford a coat of paint. Pick nick tables were used and brown paper was used as table cloths. Ordered fried catfish which was brought to the table... More

The all-u-can-eat crab legs was a great experience. The legs were brought out in individually portioned baggies (maybe 1#?) and were cooked very well. Not mushy and overcooked. The service was very attentive and we were not left sitting there w/empty plates for very long at all. When we arrived, the restaurant was not very crowded and we did notice... More

At first I was very skeptical about coming in seeing the parking lot empty at 6pm on a Friday night. However, the meal was delicious we had the snow crab as a combo everything down to the potatoes were great! I know there are some reviews on here to make you think twice, but we had a great experience. I... More

Visted the Saucy Crab Durham NC April 30 2016. People please dont waste your money on the food. Order 2 flounder meals that were both overcooked. Food took about 45 mins to come out. Now if youre thirsty and want something good to drink the pespi was really good the only thing I promise.

Went here on a Sunday evening. They were not busy. Restaurant and rest rooms needs to be kept cleaner. Shrimp ,clams mussels were overcooked and not very good. French fries overcooked and very greasy. Service was just ok. Not a good value for the price .

I found this place by accident. This is not like a crab house in Miami but this place can hold its own. starting with the cajun popcorn. The Cajun crab legs are YUMMY with a capital Y. I did not like the garlic herb sauce to much it seem liked Italian dressing but perhaps because I had the dipping sauce... More

Simple menu with a variety of delicious options. One of the only places in Durham that serves peel and eat steamed shrimp. My wife and I love shrimp so we were happy to find this gem. It is in a bad location but don't let that stop you! Bartender is very friendly and the drinks are great and strong. We... More
