We ordered Oxtail (with a glass of African red) and Chicken Karanga. They were wonderfully spicy, and the accompanying vegetables were fresh and not overcooked (What? In the South? Greens not cooked to death? Oh yes, this is an African restaurant). The staff were friendly and helpful without being overbearing. We'll be back.

Quiet place with good food - I went on a Wednesday night and it was not crowded. Had a combo samosa appetizer (one meat, one vegetable). Both were good but not great. Also had curried chicken with rice - also very good.

I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I tried this place but it was delicious and very filling. I got the green lentils with rice and samosas. I found the flavor profile to be very similar to that of western Indian food. The prices are a little higher for the ambiance of the place, but the food was worth... More

I'm a lover of ethnic foods and have tried many. This is the first place where I found curry chicken that even came close to rivaling my childhood babysitter's Trinidadian curry chicken. I love it!!!! The wings were great. I didn't even need the ranch or blue cheese because the sauce was so delicious. The ceiling in the restaurant leaves... More

Palace International is a small restaurant with a very unimposing (almost unappealing) front. But ignore the entrance and have some great food. It serves Kenyan and East African food, plus some additional dishes. It is a family owned restaurant which opened back in the 1990's. The restaurant is small and has a relatively small menu, but everything we have tried... More

All of the food we had was delicious (and not spicy, if you're worried about that). It was a rare treat to go out for Kenyan food! The service was also great.

Ate amongst family and it was wonderful. The culmination of flavours and spices reminds me of Indian cuisine. I guess they share a spice palate. The servers were really nice as well. Thumbs up!

I have passed the restaurant numerous times but never stopped. It's small but received a nice welcome. The theme is Kenyan food and the menu was clear what you might order. A nice variety of appetizers and entrees . Very ample portions and nutritious . The price is not out of line. The food is very tasty with lamb chops... More

I first tried this place at a street festival in Raleigh. I liked the food so much that I got a plate to go. I got their curry chicken plate with rice and beans. It was full of flavor and not spicy. The staff were very gracious and seemed to appreciate my business and made sure I got a business... More
