The warm friendly atmosphere can't be beat. Great food for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The best place in the whole area for a big filling meal. Everything is recommended but the fried chicken and biscuits are fantastic!

We stayed in one of the newly remodeled rooms and had a fantastic time. The friendly service, hospitality, and the comfort and quality of the room was exceptional.

Having a dinner here was an excellent choice. In this old house is the Jarrett house Restaurant and a smaller restaurant (maybe a bistro) called Coach's. The evening we were there, the Jarret House Restsurant had just closed for the season and we actually ATE in the Coach section, but we were offered and used, the Jarrett menu. I suppose... More

Went there for lunch while enroute to Atlanta. We were told because of a shortage of staff that they combined Coaches corner and Jarrett House. We went there for the food and atmosphere. We were very disappointed with where we were seated. The food continued the disappointment. The food temperature was luke warm at best.

Me and my girlfriend were crunched last minute to find a place to stay during peak season in the Smoky Mountains because of an unfortunate first time Air BNB experience. I searched online and the Jarrett House came up as the best option location and price wise. We were welcomed there and were able to check in quickly. The room... More

Jarrett House was recommended as a great place for home cooking. They did not disappoint. Fried chicken, meatloaf, chicken and dumplings, and country ham are a few of their offerings with baked apples, green beans, cole slaw and potatoes served family style alongside. The homemade biscuits were delicious. Dessert was vinegar pie or strawberry cobbler with ice cream. The service was... More

If you want a cookie cutter hotel, don't stay here. The building is way over 100 years old and needs some repairs, BUT we loved it. The room was very large and the beds were comfy. Yes, some of the linens need to be replaced. The new owner is addessing the issues and making improvements. The employees were so friendly,... More

Used to be a nice hotel, operative word 'used to be.' Outdated rooms, dirty carpets, paint peeling in bathrooms and noise from the road. Would recommend finding another location. Staff was friendly and helpful.
