After 17 years as a local fixture the Acropolis closed permanently on May 1, 2017. It had been a regular gathering place for many Cornelius organizations and groups.

Acropolis is either already closed or in the process of closing. Auction sale of equipment has already been published. Property has been bought by Circle K gas stations.

Friends and I met for breakfast. The service was fast and the food was delicious. I ordered the breakfast with bacon, eggs and gravy biscuit. The temperature of the food was just right and the bacon was nice and crispy. The sad part is, it will be closing its doors for good on Sunday April 30. The property is being... More

Nothing special. Not the best meal I've ever had and not the worst either. First time going there and I can't see myself returning.

Great family owned restaurant sorry to see it close at end of month. Had many good meals there over the years. Friendly and very attentive staff.

One of our favorite Cornelius restaurants! Eat there at least once a week. Will be closing the end of April 2017. Really hate to see them go!

Top notch eatery staff by friendly professionals. Breakfast menu is comprehensive and mine arrived just as ordered. The sausage gravy was housemate and delicious. My server was attentive and coffee cup stayed full. Beautiful decor in this large multi-roomed restaurant. Great prices and look forward to a return visit soon.

I dined alone early in the dinner service and was placed in a small booth at the edge of the bar area. My waiter was polite and quickly brought my drink and took my order of chicken souvlaki and side of Greek salad. The salad was tasty but very small. There was a minuscule portion of tsasiki sauce for the... More

This is great Greek food for a very reasonable price and thus one of my favorite places in the Davidson area (in Cornelius). I have tried several of the Greek options and enjoyed everything (the filo dough spinach pie is my favorite). I cannot vouch for the Itailian food served here, although my husband seemed to envoy it. And the... More
