Stopped here for dinner on way to Panthers game. Nice local place although a little "worn" looking. Food was good and service was too.
This is a fun spot. In town for work and wanted to watch playoff hockey near my hotel. This place isn't trying to be anything more than it is, a local hole in the wall. Wings, beer and bar banter. With several hotels within close proximity this is a gathering place for travelers and locals alike.
The waitress was nice and checked on us every few minutes. The food was pretty good. My husband enjoyed his hawian chicken sandwhich. I just got a burger and onion rings. We enjoyed a game of pool while we waited for our food which came out before the game was over.
We went across the street to the bar & had some beer and a chix ceasar salad was wonderful not ur average bar food better, was very surpised and happy.
Back in town decided to give the Locker Room one more try. Sorry I did. Bartender Paul was slow. Sat and waited 10 minutes to get another beer and when I said something about him taking so long he was rude and said oh well there are other places you can go. The bar was empty, the phone was ringing... More
Went in to watch the Steelers game yesterday and my table ordered food. Undercooked wings, hard as a rock chicken tenders, chili was so terribly salty, fries were cold. Waitress kept coming over and saying I'll be right back after she gave us our menu's but it took 20 minutes to even place an order. I don't know what is... More
Across the street from La Quinta, the Locker Room is tucked in the middle of a small strip mall. Building is at least 30 years old. They use towels under their bucket of beer to sop up water leaking from rusted holes. All part of the ambiance. The beer is cold and priced right. They have just added hard liquer... More
We came into Charlotte for the Steeler game. When we arrived at our hotel, across the street we looked out and saw a huge Steeler sign advertising this place. We went across the street to check it out. We had several drinks, nice cold coor's light. The bartender Chris, told us they could only serve beer and wine due to... More
Just had drinks but bartender was attentive and pleasant. It was a typical sports bar without any ambiance but it must be a good watering hole because there was quite a few people there that seemed to be regulars. It was across the street from our hotel so we walked over for drinks before dinner.
