If you are in Charlotte, this is a MUST! The field to table concept works here at Mimosa - the food is creative, fresh, and perfectly presented. The fried chicken was done so creatively, and was absolutely delicious! The food is delicious and the price is right.

All of the staff was very nice, skilled and professional. We were served by Will who gets our high marks. We enjoyed our meal, especially the trout and the Wedge Salad. Our only disappointment was the Lobster Mac&Cheese. We would definitely return as the atmosphere is very nice. We sat in a booth and didn't have any trouble with noise.... More

I visited for the first time tonight, during Queen's Feast. So much to be impressed by: the atmosphere, the service, the food. It's the only restaurant I've visited during restaurant week that makes the entire menu available (some items available with a surcharge). I ordered the hush puppies, the fried chicken, and the pecan pie. Everything was delicious. Our server,... More

Three family members had a fabulous lunch. The entrees: pulled pork, Crab cake stack with fried green tomatoes and shrimp and grits. All items were excellent. Keith provided exceptionally fantastic service. Yes, I recommend Mimosa Grill for great food with exceptional flavor and Keith for excellent service.

Came here with a large group after a competition at the convention center. The location is convenient and the food was great. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I had the scallops which were excellent. The service was wonderful and accommodating especially for such a large group. We would definitely return next time we are in town. The only criticism I have... More

The restaurant is modern and upscale. It's also extremely loud. Normal conversation is nearly impossible. The menu offers local sourced ingredients and modern twists on southern inspired dishes. The hush puppies and squash soup were recommended. Hush puppies are awesome; soup flavorless. Feeling pretty full, my daughter and I shared a prosciutto flatbread. It was extremely salty. The food is... More

Great location to grab drinks and a bite to eat if you're uptown for any show or event. Our server, Heidi S., was excellent and friendly (thanks Heidi!). We let her know we were headed for the theater and she made sure we had everything in plenty of time. It is a bit on the pricey side and a little... More

I've been here many times, though of late, those have been invites with others. My evaluation is that the food is inconsistent at best. The service has been spotty. The location is great, but that doesn't make up for the other things. I never put this on a recommendation list for friends or business associates.

We went to dinner here the night before the Belk Bowl football game with Virginia Tech v Arkansas. We picked it because we could walk to it from our downtown hotel and we liked the reviews on TA. There's a very much southern twist to Mimosa Grill, but it's more of an upscale bistro that you would find in any... More

My husband and I attend our annual Christmas Eve lunch at Mimosa, and we love it. Their Mimosa tea is wonderful, and their trout is divine. My husband had the salmon and loved it. Their bread pudding is the best I have ever had--anywhere!
