The service was slow but over all a good dinner. We tried the calamari, chicken parm, mussels and pasta carbone. Nice portions for money. The restaurant had great feel to it and the Friday night band was awesome. Would go back but maybe on such a busy night.

Cannot say enough good things about Aria. It was recommended by a friend who used to live in the area, as I was just visiting and had never been to Charlotte. I came in and sat at the bar. The bartender was very helpful and pointed me toward the small bar bites menu, which had $5 dishes. I had filet... More

This is our favorite restaurant uptown. The Orchetta is fabulous. The lasagna is delicious and enough for two, and only $12.00. You can also eat at the bar. Great atmosphere. This is a must go.

For all the hype about this place and what I had been told, I thought at best this place was average. Firstly its almost impossible to find as the address is not strictly accurate to actual location and they need to advise a better location that the N Tryon St address. The place was packed so we elected to sit... More

Stopped in right as they opened for dinner, and grabbed a seat in the bar. The service, from the hostess through the bartenders, was excellent. We opted for the bar menu, figuring that would let us try the most items in one visit. The dishes we tried were the meatballs, prosciutto wrapped dates, calamari, sliders, and bar pizza. None disappointed,... More

Well this place is just very fancy. A group of about 7 or 8 of us were here and we were ready for some really great food. First thing to note is that the atmosphere was very clean and crisp. I very much enjoyed the live music that was playing and was actually surprised that they were there as I... More

Despite of read good reviews, our visit was terrible. We ordered pizza and penne & butter with parmesan cheese from the kids menu and salmon with angel hair and Cesar salad with shrimp as side. Penne came with red sauce, salmon came without angel hair, and the shrimp was mixed in salad. Even after fixing, penne had no parmesan. In... More

Visited on business with two colleagues. Bread with white beans and olive oil was great as standard. Starters very good including bruschetta and ravioli. Mains were shrimp carbonara, sausage orichietta and butternut squash ravioli. Fresh from the glass walled kitchen. Good local beer and superb sorbets for desert. Excellent service and ambience and good value.

Fabulous gem in the heart of Charlotte. Had read previous reviews before our visit, and was so pleased we were able to dine here. This perhaps is one of finest Italian Restaurants I have ate at, lotsa unique dishes to select from. The appetizer pizza at $5 was to die for, and the butternut ravioli was jus amazing, and the... Dinner rolls were not fully baked. Brussels sprouts were tough and bitter. Trout was swimming in grease. Wine list was OK, though, and we had a good cab. OK, however.
