Stop by with one of my sales reps to some desserts to take to some physicians practices. There was somebody at the bar just chatting with somebody else and there was another person behind the counter on the phone. We waited probably 7 to 8 minutes for somebody to wait on us while we checked out the desserts to decide... More

Nice quite place to enjoy a meal. Hubby was very impressed with the best carrot cake . I thought the lobster roll was out of this world! Want to return to get the baked sea scallops again they were the best I've had. The meals were worth the drive. Enjoyed talking to the waiter who was very knowledgeable of the... More

Always great food! Great specials and a good selection of wine and draft beer. Try a piece of their cake!

The Pine Nut Salad is probably the best salad I've ever eaten in my life. Amazing homemade soups. Great daily specials as well. I will return again and again.

I had the crab cakes & they were delicious. The mashed potatoes were yummy too! The asparagus was a little tough. Overall, I really enjoyed it!

I had the fish and chips. Fish was tough and lacked flavor, the slaw was bland, the fries were OK. Had to leave the table and ask for malt vinegar. Wife had the lobster roll and said it was fair.

Their food is nothing to write home about but the cake is on point. Huge selection! Huge ("mile high") slices too. On Tues/Sat you get a free piece of cake with purchase of $13 entree. I've also just stopped in to pick up cake...

Delightful place to stop and eat. We were on the road en-route from Salisbury to the OBX and stopped here for lunch. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the soup and lunch were delicious. Wish it were just around the corner from where we live... I'd move in..!!

My husband and I had lunch here today before a dr. appt. at one of the adjacent UNC medical facilities. He got a Reuben and I had a turkey club. Both sandwiches were very good. Choice of sides included apple coleslaw, which he got and said was good. Unfortunately, I opted for the sweet potato fries which must have been... More

Standard all America menu, would suggest some local fare like pulled pork sandwich, collards, blackeyed peas etc... to the menu. The food that they have is very good, their Tomatoe Soup is OUTSTANDING and their bleu cheese dressing yummy too. Do not forget dessert, they are incredible!
