It's always a positive sign when the owner greets you upon arrival at a restaurant. Their presence means they care about the place. This happened as soon as we were seated. The waiter, Dane, was energetic, informative and enjoyable-all features that add to the experience. My lamb chops were the best option; others had pizza and burger and vegan choices. The... More

It's clean and the food is pretty ok. We sat at the bar for lunch and it was definitely edible but predictable. Easy parking and service was good.

Hi Larry, Thank you for your recent trip to City Kitchen. While our lunch menu does offer classic American fare, I would suggest rejoining us for dinner where our menu is a bit more globally inspired and dynamic. We hope to have you back again soon and thank you for your review. More

Chef brought together the flavors on many basic southern dishes with flair. Short ribs made you salivate afterwards. Portions were well worth the cost, which was also very reasonable for what you received.

We needed a space for 20 people for a last-minute reservation and City Kitchen not only accommodated us, they didn't charge for a separate room, like a number of restaurants in the area. They set us at 2 big tables and we had plenty of room to chat and we were able to hear each other! They accommodated all diets... More

Quite frankly, I like the ambiance better than their food choices. If someone were to invite me to eat there, I would go -- no question. But I haven't found their portions to be as adequate as I would like when compared to price. They do have a nice wine and beer selection by the glass. And their bar seating... More

Had lunch on the patio on a sunny midday afternoon. Even though the patio looked over the parking lot, with cars driving by, it was nicely appointed with large plantings (trees, pots, roses) that made the area feel very private - and also provided a nice windbreak. Patio heaters and umbrellas were also available as needed. Lunch specials were available... More

My buddy and I had lunch there today and were quite happy. Waiter recommended a vegetable pasta dish that knocked me out. Goat cheese, onions tomatoes, asparagus, hell I didn't need a salad, it WAS a salad and really tasty as well. My pal had a cheese sandwich with home made vegetable soup and liked both. I also liked the... More

We visited City Kitchen for Sunday Brunch for my mother's birthday. We actually traveled about 40 minutes away. We were a party of six. I made online reservations. But that was not necessary because there were few people in the restaurant when we arrived. The food as delicious! I ordered Crab Cake Benedict.Large crab cake. The added country ham gave... More

large well appointed restaurant for dinner or lunch. Menu is eclectic with items from lamb chops to Sushi. I might suggest a little more focus. Good wine list and bar. Food seemed average for this class restaurant, service is excellent. Noise level when busy is high and prices are expensive. Dinner for two with a glass of wine $70-$90.
