Uncomplicated ordering, not much time wasted for finding out what I want. Very friendly staff. I had the flounder and shrimps, fried, with cole-slaw and green beans and a bottle of water. Big portion for the money ($19), I'll skip dinner tomorrow.

This restaurant is typical local seafood place. You order at the counter, though the cashier was very friendly, no frills with servers. The flounder was fried but good but the collard greens was the best of my order. It was fresh and cooked just right....More
I don't mind telling you, I'm pretty picky about my fried chicken, but these folks know what they're doing. My granny once won the blue ribbon for first place in the Georgia State Fair for her pound cake and I believe even she would say...More
Very short on ambience, but long on really good food. Their motto is "Where the locals eat." It is; we are; and we did. This is an old fashioned "fish house" with a varied menu that features either broiled or fried seafood. Typical Southern sides,...More
Everything I have ever gotten from the Bogue House has been great. My mom's senior church group gets the Bogue House Bbq and hushpuppies as part of their monthly meal. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The Oysters are the best I have had in E I so far. Lightly breaded and fried just right, the Flounder was moist and mildly flavored. I will definitely be back to try other items on the menu !
We ordered a family take out dinner. We had a mix of seafood and veggies. Fried okra is always a winner. All the seafood is fried. We had oysters, shrimp, flounder, and bay scallops. They offered barbecue, but we didn't order it this time. It...More
BBQ was good as was fried chicken and fried shrimp. Servings were generous. No wait staff. You order at counter and pick up your food but the food was good!!!
One of my favorite "hole in the wall" gems. Whether you are craving fresh seafood or home cooked veggies, this is the place. Order at the counter, nothing fancy, just belly filling food, served with a smile. We eat here often.
