We've lived in the area for almost 8 years now but had never been to Glasshalfull. Since my wife and I had an evening to ourselves last Friday without kids or grandkids, we wanted to try someplace new. Based on TA reviews, we choose Glasshalfull. The restaurant didn't disappoint! Service was outstanding. We were able to sit outside on a... More

Loved my drink from Miranda and the appetizers were delicious! I had the scallops and they were to die for! Our waiter, Paul??, was attentive and very pleasant. There were 6 of us and we all loved our experience. Will definitely frequent this spot!

We stoped on a whim at 5:30 pm and got right in special was steamed clams which we ordered along with chicken pate, both fabulous! I have a splint on my right wrist, waitress Heather recognized my dilemma in maneuvering the clams and fixed them for me. Outstanding service, she was also very perceptive to our needs!! Wine was excellent... More

First of all, the wine selection is by far superior to any other restaurant in town (Chapel Hill included). Their choice of offerings are deliberate and interesting. I could be an ambassador for this place. I really love it and insist that all my clients eat here when in town. The food is, well, amazing. I have never been disappointed,... More

As many people have said the mushroom, arugula and fig flat bread (Coca) is absolutely fantastic. The flavors meld unbelievably well. The brussel sprouts are also magnificent. The service was good and the atmosphere is very nice and relaxing. The dessert menu looked amazing, and I wish I had saved room to try at least one. I would definitely return.

I popped in for an early dinner and they were very accommodating. Had. A great house salad, the fig and arugula flat bread was off the hook! I wanted a nice protein, but didn't want a full dinner. The chef was kind enough to make a half portion of the scallops entree which was perfectly cooked! Great place and a... More

Four of us had dinner at Glasshalffull last evening. We ordered a combination of small plates and dinner entrees. The quality of the food was exceptional. The chickpea fritters, beet and goat cheese salad, and brussels sprouts are wonderful, as was the duck breast entree. The focacia with arugula and mushrooms was to die for. Even the olive oil served... More

We continue to try this place but this was my last time. We visited with another couple who are big fans so we gave it another try. Choices are varied and most are nicely done. My complaint is that the small plates are priced similar to most main dishes at comparable places in the area and are less than half... More
