Please see my review about the Inn itself. We only had dinner one time. We had breakfast 4 times. Dinner was hot and breakfast was not.

Three of us dined here Friday night and could not have been more pleased with our experience. Everybody at the table tried different items from the menu and everything was delicious. The top hits seemed to be the calamari appetizer and the shrimp and grits. On the advice of our server we tried the new salted caramel dessert and she... More

Last year when we visited Buxton, we were unable to get reservations for the Café, so this year we made sure we reserved early. It was well worth the advance planning and the wait! We felt very welcome from the moment we arrived when the hostess greeted us and showed us to our table. Our server, Mandy was stellar. The... More

My husband and and I went to Cafe Pamlico twice while we spent a week at a house in Frisco. We had read reviews and it seemed this was the place to go for a "nicer" meal in the area. Well the reviews were right! The first meal, we were there in the late afternoon, the second on a Friday... More

We've been there twice now. The food is always excellent, the environment easy, and the view amazing. Always surprised it isn't packed!

Thank you for your review. The reason we are not packed is that we deliberately fill primarily by reservation. We leave limited space for lodging guests who forget to make reservations, and use that capacity for walk ins if lodging guests don't need the tables. We have a core belief in a languid, unhurried, excellent dining experience. Rushing tables through... More

Grilled Caesar salad was a concept gone bad! Crab cakes were good but small given price point. Presentation was lacking. Not the fine dining experience I expected. Service was excellent. Not sure I'd return.

We are sorry this guest liked neither our popular grilled Caesar salad or our equally well reviewed crab cakes. We're also surprised they found our presentation lacking vs. the glowing comments and pictures posted by most dining guests. A challenge responding to this reviewer is that they reported a good experience to our servers and staff. We carefully check in... More

Our party of eight decided to go there, and it was a wonderful experience and delicious food. Some of the vegetables are grown in their gardens on site! Michael served us and was an excellent waiter along with being very pleasant and friendly. Thanks, Micheal!

Fantastic food, pleasant presentation, aesthetic atmosphere, extremely nice staff. Vegan and vegetarian upon request, happy to accommodate dietary restrictions. Dedicated to local ingredients. Would absolutely recommend to a friend and return again.

My partner and I, had dinner here for my birthday. We chose this place based on previous Trip Advisor suggestions. Cafe Pamlico, has a beautiful view of the bay (request a table by a window) and the fresh catch of the day, was great, however we were served stale bread, which wasn't a good start and had me a bit...
