Food was average, service was poor, waiter couldn't run credit cards or break large bills, had to pay for our tonic water separately at the bar, was cold in dining room and too dark to read the menu.

We've been to the resort a few times over the last 15 years and loved it. And, we still love the resort. But, the Bistro is not on par with the resort. We had excellent service. But, the food was very expensive and not good. They have "steak" on the menu and didn't even say what kind of steak you'd... More

A real gem for fine dining in the small town of Bryson City, NC. Everything you'd expect, Great service, food, and atmosphere. Prices are not big city, but as you'd expect for white table cloth dining. It's in an old hotel with a few totally restored rooms, but we didn't have time to explore them.

This Bistro was just taken over by new management and they were trying very hard to please. The menu's were not ready for 45 minutes after they opened, Prices were high $27 for a steak, $4.50 a salad and a side was $2.50. Add it all up and that is a little high price for us.

The young lady running the restaurant tried extremely hard to make a dining experience a good one...., but couldn't quite pull it off. I ordered a bottle of wine from the menu, which after 20 minutes I was told they couldn't locate it, so I settled for a sub, Malbec, which okay, but not what I wanted. The food was... More

This place use to be a top on my list, but not anymore since they changed management. Only had 5 things to choose from on the menu and each dish was horrible. We had four people in our party and we each ordered something different and not one of us enjoyed the meal. Overcooked, cold, under cooked, or just no... More

Lovely restaurant, great view and very good food. Our waiter was very attentive and enjoyable to talk to. I'm sorry I forgot his name as I meant to mention him. We sat outside and the view was superb. We intentionally timed our dinner for sunset and we were not disappointed. This was the best view in a restaurant we had... More

First of all I highly recommend the chicken pasta with marsala sauce. The food was excellent, My compliments to chef Samina. Our waitress (Audrey) was wonderful, she very graciously endured my rambunctious 2 year old son and was attentive to whatever we needed. We sat out on the deck with a view of the mountain's and overlooking the river. The... More

Great food and outstanding service. We enjoyed the Chicken Marsala! We had to skip the desserts because are servings were so large.

Worst dining experience I've had in years. My wife and two kids had dinner here last night. Thought we were going to get semi fine dining in the mountains but severely disappointed. The server was clueless. He brought out desserts that we didn't order before our entrees arrived. When the entrees arrived they were cold and they forgot to bring... More
