Stopped by the Iron Skillet, ordered the Bacon Cheese Burger. The apple bacon was the best ever. Would absolutely recommend it.

Food was very good. We each had a burger-done perfectly. Service was a bit slow, however they were very busy.

We had breakfast on Wednesday, 10/19/16 before taking the train ride. The place seemed to have a mix of locals and tourists waiting on the train. Sort of an old fashioned country eatery, with very good food, good portions and very pleasant and efficient staff. We had your basic egg and grits breakfast. Very good, coffee good and hot and... In downtown Bryson City, NC, I found the food to be very good and worth the price. Had a friendly staff and good prices. A nice restaurant for a quick, inexpensive meal.

First bite reminded her of the taste and texture of a high school cafeteria hamburger. Tender? Yes. Tasty? No. The crinkle cut sweet potato fries... More

If you want the standard breakfast, you will not be disappointed. Not much more to say. Everything tasted as expected. Place is a little scattered and in need of a tidying up.

Good home cooking. The service was good. Nothing fancy. A mom and pops style restaurant. Located off Main Street within walking distance of all shops.
