Food was very good. Older, quaint little restaurant. Got there about 5 , no wait, but the crowd was there when we left. I had the trout, it was delicious, my husband had the steak and it was cooked to his request, was tasty, tender....More

Older downtown type restaurant. Food was good. This was a busy weekend evening. Service for a party of six was slow. Server was not overly friendly. Server did not supply the requested separate checks for our group. Then at the cash register wanted us in...More

Best Caesar salad ever! Food was really good. Loved The blackened chicken alfredo! The prices were great, as was the service. No complaints!

We arrived around 5:30 and the place was full, so we waited about 1/2 hour to be seated. Seems like they could us much more help in the kitchen and the wait staff. The food was average and some arrived cold. I was really surprised...More

Tasty lump crab cakes, grilled shrimp, and mountain trout served with sweet potato fries, coleslaw, and green beans. Delicious and very reasonably priced. Cozy, quaint dining room. The place was packed every time I went by.

20 different ways to get a burger. Also, serves Elk and Buffalo burgers. The seafood selection is ok, but there are plenty of options and the price was right. One of the few places in town that seems to be open a little later (as...More

We stopped in for dinner after a beautiful fall drive throughout the Smokey Mountains. We had the fried mushroom appetizer with homemade breading that were fantastic! Very lightly breaded and not too filling. My wife had the "Bleu Max" burger which she loved. Besides bleu...More

Had dinner at this business. Table service was - well - poor. It seemed that our waiter might have been new maybe? Even though he wrote things down, he needed reminding for a number of things. Had to ask for tableware after the meals were...More

Great grilled trout. We had a wait even during lunch hours but it was worth the wait! Also very neat and quaint downtown and be sure to ride the train.

Hey this is jimmy from jimmy macs, and wanted to say how sorry we are to hear about you not getting a chance to eat with us. During different times this time of year the train drops off 1000 or so people in a town that has seating at restaurants around 300 total for all the restaurants combined. And combine that with the fact that we are blessed enough to have a strong local following and unfortunately only seat 95 people total we can run a pretty big wait sometimes. But if me and my wife didn't work real hard to keep up the quality of food and service we would prob have open seats. But we do take pride in our business and our reputation, so I wanted to ask you to take a second to reconsider your review and ratings. We have worked day and night, seven nights a week to get and keep our score high and we are very confused about a 3 out of 5 because we are to busy for the time you have for dinner. Hopefully you will agree that it's not fair to put our score down to a point that would take us months to get back just because we do what we are suppose to do. And then the next time you guys are in town you can call and ask for me or my wife (grace) and we can get you checked in over the phone and reduce any wait time to almost nothing. I truelly do value every single one of our customers, and take great pride in knowing people choose to spend a special occasion, family dinner, or just a bite to eat with us. And truelly hope I can get a chance to take some pride in myself by seeing y'all enjoy not just a meal, but a night out with us. Thanks in advance for your reconsideration

We are a family owned and operated all American steak and seafood restaurant that specializes in hand pattied beef, buffalo, and elk burgers, hand cut steaks, and fresh seafood. Since we opened in 1978 in Tampa Florida by my father, we have been believers in keeping things fresh, fairly priced, and family friendly.
