The service was great but the food was just ok. The menu was also somewhat limited. The atmosphere and view was fantastic

Our family ate here after a whitewater rafting trip. The food and service were good. We enjoyed eating on the river and would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a good meal in a peaceful atmosphere.

Excellent food and service - a great way to top off a day of rafting or zipping! We ate here twice and were pleased both times.

We came for breakfast with a view and were not disappointed. Most tables are at a window and the menus has a good number of selections. The servings are large (the Appalachian Trail crosses here so not only do they serve hungry canoers, but the...More

If we are riding the train and there is a layover there, do we have enough time to order and eat before the train leaves? We were there once before and had to wait a long time for our food.

I have ridden the train many times to the NOC and there really isn't enough time to eat there. It is best to eat at one of the kiosks on the train side of the river. That way, you still have a bit of time to walk around and... More

Do you allow dogs on the outdoor patio? We have not been to Nantahala for years but used to love eating at Rivers End with our dog in tow.
