We stopped in for a late lunch and because they were between Lunch menu and Dinner, we ate off the Bar Menu. Vidalia salad, side of Mac & Cheese, and onion rings. Perfect for us. Food was well prepared and presented. Flavors full and fresh....More

We had not been to Vidalia since their expansion to two storefronts, and were very happy to see that the changes were all positive. A modern and spacious surrounding with some rustic and personalized touches. Sam and Alyce Ratchford (owner/chef and sommelier wife) do a...More

Sunday after church brunch. Deliciously different takes on traditional meals. Service is friendly and is good value for the money. Occasionally a wait, but worth it.

Vidalia advertises itself as refined casual dining, which is exactly what it is. This is me and my wife's favorite restaurant in Boone. Great food at reasonable prices.

This restaurant was recommended by locals. I stopped in and dined by myself at the bar. Lots of good beer on draft. I opted for the fried chicken and waffles. Everything was delicious, the service was good, the setting pleasant and casual. Will return

Although Boone has mountains and mountainy things by the truckload, there are those that need to be part of a 'happening metropolitan scene'. Buzzing with life then where daring haircuts and tatoos discussing anything from organically grown dandelions to the much maligned Beelzibub in The...More

There is a newer screened porch which could probably accommodate your party of 8 & be a bit quieter than the main rooms.
