We had a great time sitting in the bar area listening to the music sipping some drinks and eating appetizers. Everything we had was great, drink prices are pretty good but food prices are expensive but everything we had was delicious. The atmosphere is great, would come back for sure!

The appetizer was cooked perfectly. We had the ahi tuna nachos. I had the special of the night, which was Korean barbecue steak with asparagus and a side salad. Even the dressing was amazing. My husband had the pecan encrusted chicken with the wasabi mashed potatoes. He also had a ceaser salad. There was nothing I tried at the restaurant... More

We were looking for a nice place to eat for a special occasion, so we chose Timberlake. The ambience and atmosphere was good since the Christmas lights were on throughout the resort. Our waiter was attentive and provided good service. I was surprised by the quality of the food we ordered. My wife ordered seafood which had to be returned... More

I went to Timberlake's for a gal's night out a few months back, then enjoyed it again last night with hubby and another couple. This is a really nice restaurant for a captive resort audience! Blowing Rock, NC, has no shortage of great dinner venues, and Timberlake's is up there with the best for quality of food and service. The... More

We celebrated a friend's birthday while staying at Chetola Resort. Both men had filets and raved about the flavor. The birthday girl had the trout and I had the salmon. Both dishes were very flavorful and cooked perfect. We were seated near the fireplace which was most pleasurable and the service was fantastic.

We joined 15 friends and family at Timberlake’s Restaurant for their Thanksgiving Buffet. The food was amazing. One huge table for the first course included salads, fruits, crab cakes, trout, shrimp and much more. The traditional Thanksgiving selections took up an entire room and included carved turkey and prime rib, ham, vegetables, sweet potato casserole, chicken and all the trimmings.... More

My wife and I were in the area to celebrate her birthday. This was supposed to be the preliminary evening to the following night's "big" evening. In reality, this turned out be the more enjoyable evening. The resort and restaurant were busy with the beginning of the Christmas season in Blowing Rock. There were extensive lighting displays on the grounds... More

Our group had a five day stay for our yearly retreat. The food and the service were excellent. The room view was wonderful. The skeet shooting was excellent as well except that I am a poor shot. The owner, Kent Tarbutton, and his staff are top notch, always smiling and looking for ways to be of service… We keep returning... More
