We went with our young child to the restaurant; we were pleased with our decision to eat here. Our waitress was extremely attentive and kind, trying to answer all the questions our son had. Even other waitresses at other tables we overheard were extremely kind and helpful. The food was very good and tasted fresh; especially there French fries. The... More

Great stop in Blowing Rock to eat. Only reviewing on the prime rib sandwich a little $$$ but after i ate it well worth it. Came with about 1/2 cup of mashed potatoes & gravy (get serious). Would i spend $$$ to buy it again NO.

Our family was passing thru Blowing Rock this past weekend on our way to get a Christmas and stopped in Blowing Rock to eat. We decided to give this pub a chance but more importantly the wait was the shortest which was an hour. It was a cool pub that was a fun place to eat and watch football. Once... More

Buffalo wings to start were fantastic. Most of us had the fish and chips and were very happy. 1 in the party had the gouda burger and she loved it. The fish is great plenty per portion. The chips are thick cut. The wait was a bit long but the the place is popular.

We visit Blowing Rock almost every year and have never tried this restaurant. Stopped by for a quick lunch and were very happy we did. Service is friendly and professional. Atmosphere is comfortable. Decent list of wine. I had onion soup that was perhaps the best I have ever had. Chicken salad sandwich was moist and delicious. Husband had soup... More

Was surprised to get a table, very busy place. Had lunch, one person had fish and chips and indicated it was very good I had the plowmans lunch and enjoyed it. The French onion soup was a little thin but adequate. The staff were all very welcoming our waitress Haley was very good and pleasant. One person ordered a grilled... More

If you like variety and unique menus, this is a wonderful alternative to the normal cafes and diners. Irish, English, and American cuisine. Shepard's Pie, Fish and Chips and Reubens were high on the favoritesnlist. French onion soup was delicious. Favorite appetizer was fried pickles which came out as a huge plate heaped and more than enough for our party... More

We really like Six Pence Pub. We had to wait a while cause it was family day for Appalachian State University. I wish there could of been more seating outside for waiting but it was ok. The food was very good and service was, too. We enjoyed the English décor of the pub. I would go again.
