Offering the best pastries I have ever tasted. Cinnamon rolls, Pecan rolls, Chocolate almond Brioche are a few items of their excellent selection. They also serve soup and sandwiches in a relaxed environment. When ever I am in the area, "The Black Mountain Bakery" is a must stop. Don't miss it.

Nice pastries, light lunches open from 8a.m.to 3 p.m. Also makes excellent, nicely decorated cakes. Locally owned by people who care.

Bakery goodies, not on main street but, easy to find just across the street from the Methodist Church on Church Street in Black Mountain, The Front Porch of Western North Carolina.

Excellent baked goods. Some old favorites along with some new. Owner is hands on. Best cookies around. All I can say is YUM! Great for everyone, any time of day. (Call before going as I believe at the present they close mid-afternoon.)

Breads and pastries baked before sunrise. Sit down for a yummy breakfast or a lunch sandwich in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Casual.

I stop in this place any time i am in Black Mountain, and the pumpkin bread (when available) is superb! I've even had it shipped to me, and it was worth every penny!

If in warm months enjoy eating outside and listen to the church bells. Our group of women had the best time enjoying nature. Great homemade breads for sandwiches and luscious desserts.

This was also another stop during our Creative Mountain Food Tour. We bought bread to take back home and had a delicious dessert during our visit.

I enjoy getting lunch here, as I find that their sandwiches are always fresh. Also, if you need a cake for an event, this is the number one place to get cake. The cake is delicious and moist, and the icing is the BEST!

Every year when we drive up to Montreat (beyond Black Mountain) we discuss their delicious Pumpkin Bread (which we buy multiple loaves of during our week's stay)!
