Slipped in for breakfast this morning with a buddy and found this little place wonderful for context and food. REally enjoyed the staff and setting. Almost didn't report on it because it seems like a great locals place and didn't want to spoil it.

We ate breakfast at Louise's Kitchen on the Friday after Thanksgiving. The place was very busy and we only waited about 10 minutes for a table. Make sure to order your food when you arrive because you can't sit down until you have a ticket. Eat the grit cakes! They are awesome.

Every time I go I'm always stuck with the BigBoy burrito, doesn't matter what time I get there, its my favorite breakfast or lunch. Awesome friendly atmosphere, great people, always cozy and friendly.

Stopped in for a breakfast and enjoyed it. Ordered the big boy burrito. Was very good. Cool little vibe to the place. It's an old converted house thus very compartmentalized dinning rooms. You order at the front and sit where you like. Cool old soul music was playing... Enjoyed it.

This is righteous breakfast food! My partner had the French Toast and I had the Big Boy Burrito. Wow! That Burrito was dynamite! It was so flavorful, chock full of eggs, potatoes, sausage, diced peppers. I typically spice up a dish like this, no need this time. It was perfectly flavored, with the perfect size for a breakfast meal at... More

This was one of three restaurants recommended by the Black Mt. visitor center, when I asked, "Where do the locals go for breakfast?" I was looking for a place with good regional food and ambiance. Louise's filled the bill to a tee! A big, old Victorian with the restaurant occupying the ground floor, and surrounding porch for sheltered, outdoor seating.... More

What is not to love about Louise's? The staff here welcomes you like you're coming into their home, the ambiance is cozy, old-timey and the food really tasty. The portions are plentiful and the value spot-on. This is a happy place all the way around.

We had come up to Black Mountain to check out a coffee place. We needed lunch and this was a place we had not tried. Good variety of sandwiches and a few salads. The drinks are in mason jars, which is cute. We split a sandwich with an extra side. It was tasty and fairly priced. We would eat here... More

My wife and I have wanted to try Louise's Kitchen for some time but were unwilling to wait in the long lines for brunch. This trip we were able to have breakfast there on a weekday when the lines were shorter although it still took some time to order. I had the biscuits and gravy and a scrambled egg and... More

My wife and I had breakfast at Louise's this morning. I usually add some hot sauce to my biscuits and gravy but the B&G here was so perfectly seasoned and zesty that I put the hot sauce down for the first time ever. My wife had pancakes and said the were good, but she has had the Park Cafe and... More
