I've been eating at Ole's for over 9 years now. This is a family owned business that strives to serve fresh ingredients. There are a few different dishes I usually get and they've tasted amazing every time! There is both indoor and outdoor seating, with the outdoor seating being seasonal. Prices are great for the amount of food you get.

We hit Ole's Guacamoles every time we are in Black Mountain. They used to be located where Fresh Pizza is now. We really love trying their different salsas. They are are located in 2 places and you serve yourself. They are made fresh daily and range from really hot to mild. They serve you bean dip and chips as well.... More

Ole's is a great place for lunch or dinner. It's perfect for families with children or a friends get-together. The food is delicious beginning with hot chips and an array of salsas from the salsa bar and just about any item on the menu. Add to that a cold mug of beer and it's hard to beat. I'm from Texas... The family that owns this and their staff are all really sweet, and it was once delicious food, but something has gone awry. Lunch was served cold and the taste was just flat. The tortilla shells were mushy, and the beans and rice were as bland as it gets. Granted, they were busy but the food has a mass-produced quality... More

I stayed at a nearby hotel, and the front desk person recommended this local owned spot, so I visited for an early lunch on Sunday, Oct 30. The manager was friendly, professional, and immediately brought me to an outside table that I requested when given options. It was a cool Autumn day and being outside by the small brook made... Didn't like their steak chimichanga. They have a salsa bar and only liked the green salsa. The margarita was nothing special. They give you free refried bean dip which was pretty good considering it's mashed up refried beans. Don't live there or have one anywhere near where I do so I don't have to worry about going back.

We had twelve for dinner late on Saturday night so we had to be seated outside on the terrace. Although a bit chilly, the service and food made for a memorable meal. Also, our tables were beside a small mountain stream which provided the proper atmosphere for the start of our first mountain vacation. Everyone enjoyed their meals, mine was... More

The food at Ole's Guacamoles was very tasty. I got a veggie burrito and the flavor of it was wonderful. They give you complimentary bean dip and have a self-serve salsa bar. I had a Blue Moon Margarita which was very good. The evening that I was there the restaurant was packed and service was extremely slow.

Cams to Ole Guacamole to escape hurricane Matthew and was sent here by locals raving about the food. Was not disappointed, the town and all the restaurants were fantasfic but what made it out experience so exceptional was the service. Ashley was awesome, was more than attentive and accommodating and have great service and advice for the next couple days.... More

We had excellent service but after reading the reviews here I expected much more. One person in our party got fajitas and those were good but the rest of us found our food bland and my entree had very little chicken on the plate. Overall it was a huge disappointment.
