We had lunch of chicken satay, tom kha soup, and spicy chicken fried rice. The satay and fried rice were perfect. Soup just a little too spicy for me, but great taste. Efficient service. There are 5-6 parking spaces which is a real plus in...More

It is a cute little town around Ridgecrest in Black Mountain. Not a lot of gourmet food around, but THIS is a great stop! The food was authentic and well prepared. The 4 of us were sharing our food to taste it all. Pineapple basil...More

I ordered the tum yum and the Thai green curry. The tum yum was great. Perfectly spicy. The green curry was bland and boring. Second time I’ve ordered curry here and it’s been bland. I recommend the curry house in Asheville instead.

My husband & I arrived after a long day and ordered red curry chicken & Pad Thai. Unfortunately, mango isn’t available here for our favorite mango sticky rice:-( The service is still excellent. I believe the owner personally served our table with that gracious pride...More

I wasn't impressed with the food at all. I ordered Red Curry which wasn't good at all ... Worst Thai I've ever experienced.

The one-star soup was too spicy for us (wimps that we are.) But the food ( a stir fry, a curry and pad thai) was quite tasty, and we'd come back for it. Our waiter was a bit gruff, but very helpful.

When we ate at Thai Basil we didn’t look for bubble tea on the menu because we spent the previous two hours nearby at Dobra Tea, where I had bubble tea. Dobra’s version of bubble tea was less sweet than I had tasted... More

They've got tons of gluten-free options; staple grain is rice, and many of the noodles are rice noodles instead of wheat. I'd always make sure to ask first... but this spot is perfect for GF dining.
