My family and I came here after being ignored for 20 minutes at Mcdougalls. The lady that greeted us was friendly and sat us quickly. The place is very dark and dated, and our view was of a trailer across the street. Slow 80's rock in the background. Smelled line vanilla musk, and trust me I wish I was exaggerating.... More

The ingredients were well chosen and tasty. The dishes were well prepared, presented and tastefull. The atmosphere was quaint and enjoyable. The prices seemed reasonable for the quality of the food. The staff were very kind and helpfull. There were some homemade delicacies on the salad bar that realy stood out, like the pickles. My only issue were the pie... More

Dropped in here after a day of skiing at Whiteface. Out a party of three, all of us had the special of the day and found it to be delightful. All of the staff were very friendly, the service was good and the food was delicious.

The stuffed salmon was a good pre-hike dinner. Our waitress very accommodating and friendly, couldn't have been more helpful. Food was excellent.

Salad bar is pretty average - lettuce mix with a few fixings but not much choice. i got filet mignon which was big but gristle-ly. My friend had stuffed salmon. i mean, for a place that basically has fish and meat and nothing else (no side plates, no pastas) it's decent and lots of food. Service was nice. The mushroom... More

Such a lovely, rustic, and romantic wilderness getaway in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains! Staff was very professional and courteous. The menus is scrumptious and the prices are mid range. Beautiful table settings and very clean. I had the shrimp and scallops which was delightful! SO worth going :-) limited parking. Very close to Whiteface skiing, gondola and motels... More

We had dinner at this restaurant. It was pretty decent. Not a huge menu but choices were fine and varied. Nice appeal to it.

Our family of four had a lovely dinner at the Wilderness Inn II. During the busy week-after-Christmas season in Lake Placid, Wilderness was a lovely respite from the hustle and bustle of Main Street. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly. Fireplaces were warm and cozy in multiple rooms. Step back in time and enjoy the fun, kitschy decor and... More
