We had a good time with our children, partners & grandchildren and the food was good as well as the service. One dissapointment we had is that when ordering pizzas we asked for 1 Gluten Free. Afer a while when we asked where it was we were advised that they hadn't noted that we asked for a gluten free pizza even though other people heard me ask for one. They didn't acknowledge their error and even sent the poor waiter over to ask for the extra $2 on the managers instructions. Poor customer relations as we have spent well over $250. It left a sour taste on what was a great afternoon.

Swings to us is an institution. We “swing” by each time we enter the south west and grab a sparkling for my wife and a rose and shiraz for myself. Amazing wines, reasonable prices and great service at the cellar door My daughter pretty much daily asks for the playground at Swings - I feel in paradise when I’m able to relax in the sun in the amazing decor while my daughter makes new friends and has new adventures across the natural playground. The food ! Where do I start ! The epic board is a must to sample the best of the chefs talents followed by the pink hummus. Of course, any of the pizzas are amazing and the kids menu is plentiful. A great spot with great people and as I mentioned, an institution. Enjoy the spot !

What a superb venue. A great choice of wood fired pizza - swiftly served; I recommend the mushroom and truffle one which was delicious. A great open space - perfect for children (there is a playground for smaller children and open space for older children and dogs!). And the swings at some tables are a unique touch if you are not susceptible to motion sickness. The wine ain't bad either! We will definitely be visiting again.

This is my second visit to Swings & Roundabouts in the last month on trips from Perth. The first trip was ok for myself and two friends but the order of pumkin soup for fourth person was forgotten and after wItin patiently (until the rest of us had almost finished our meal) a reminder was given at the counter and the soup arrived almost cold and the friend complained and refused to pay for it. On visit today I was a friend and her daughter who lives in Busselton suggested we go there as she hadn’t been for a while and also was bringing her 3 yo son along. No problem placing our order but the children’s menu was very limited so we order a bowl of chips, which came as described.. the chips were fine for adults but how many small children eat potatoes with the skin on and with rosemary sprinkles? We then decided to try and get a snack to keep him occupied so asked if w Could have a few crackers and were given a plate with 4 crackers, on then asking for a few more were tersely told $6 for a bowl, on commenting that was a bit much were offered a small plate for $4.50 which was agreed on and then going back to the counter to pay a new person serving was not very friendly re this deal but eventually placed the order, which was then bought to the table and rudely put down with not a word from the wait person. As we had already spent $100 for our order is it unreasonable to expect a bowl of dry crackers? And as an aside the pumpkin soup that came today was only warm, but hot but we did not make any comment about that to them. There we also about 4 other tables with children there so why not make it more pleasant for both adults and children? Overall this experience has left a most unfortunate taste and don’t think we will be rushing back in a hurry.

We had a good lunch here but we were made to feel really uncomfortable over our wine club membership when we attempted to purchase some wine to take home. We were told rather rudely that we were no longer members despite meeting their criteria. Our last purchase was in April and we were given the club membership discount then when we ordered a case online I followed the advice of another staff member who told me to get in touch with Amanda Keady, which I did a few days ago. She declined to reply personally. All we have received is a marketing email. What a shame as we were in the area and we were going to come back and visit. My husband is now refusing to go there after how we were treated.

Booked a table for 20 family members to celebrate a wedding the previous day and a 40th birthday, in October 2020 for jan 2021 On arrival were informed that our table had been given to another party of 20 who had turned up insisting that they had made a booking ( later it turned out that these people had not made a booking but just turned up expecting a table) so we were placed in a storeroom no I’m not kidding! No windows and just boxes and cartons stored on shelving ! 3 x beers listed for sale out of those 1 marked as not available Fish and chips dry and overcooked and salad was a joke dried lettuce leaves few cherry tomatoes no dressing and nothing else. Pizza was a joke pitta bread type base with a smear of tomato paste a little chopped ham and a few pineapple pieces cheese missing in action. Add 2 x glasses quarter full of house Rose and kiss goodbye $90 This place is a disgrace and a complete waste of time and money

We visited this outlet fairly early on a Monday. Beautiful day to be out. There was construction happening in the vicinity, I’m assuming they’re expanding. I’ll cut to the chase. The food is simple but done well. Pizzas and charcuterie board were satisfactory. We received a Margherita pizza 2 minutes after ordering , I’m assuming this was sitting in the wings due to an incorrect earlier order. The pizza was warm, not hot. Most of the staff were pleasant except for one lady who was rude and frankly should not be in the service industry with such an attitude. She was unpleasant at the bar when we ordered, disinterested when my partner got drinks and arrogant and rude when we let the staff know that due to the gusts of wind affecting the area at the time, which blew the glasses and cutlery off the table, that it’d be advisable to close the umbrellas so as not to effect future customers. Her reaction was disinterest and frankly insulting. We won’t be back. There’s better service elsewhere in this area.

Cam here for lunch with my husband. The pizza was to die for and I loved that they make their own hand cut chips. I love the large space that they have which allows everyone to find their own spot without feeling crowded. It also provides a whole lot of room for kids to entertain themselves while the parents enjoy a nice glass of wine. absolutely love the tables with the swinging chairs.

We visited Swings today for lunch as a family group of 12. We booked 6 months ago given our group size and were so grateful to the Swings team to have honoured our booking during this very restrictive time of Covid. Although we were restricted to a 60 minute window, the service, food and ambience could not have been warmer. Hats off to all involved during this difficult time. Our group ordered starters and mains (pizzas) and half the group did the wine tasting option and EVERYTHING was fantastic! A shout out to Claire who lead our wine tasters through the tasting menu, your explanations were on point and warm & friendly which was obvious with our group leaving with 3 cases of wine! The renovations are SENSATIONAL and I could not recommend more a winery that suits all groups, couples or families. Keep up the great work everyone, we'll be back!

We stopped at Swings & Roundabouts as a part of our winery tour as it had lunch included. This venue is perfectly decked out, has a great atmosphere, fire burning and great outdoor area. We were seated in a private area away from the other patrons and were served salads, pizza, chips & wine. Sure, not fancy food, but the pizza was so tasty and perfectly cooked. Our table of 9 guests kept raving about the freshness of the food and how delicious it was. Would recommend to anyone visiting the wine region.

Food was great, especially the pizza. Had a chai and beer for drinks, so good to receive a HOT chai, beer was good but pricey at $10 per can. Could not believe how quickly the food was served, best we’ve ever experienced. Great casual atmosphere in a trendy setting. Open spaces for the kids to run around and play

I mean, where to start. Went here at 3ish on a Monday arvo, as you arrive your politely greeted by aggressive Karen member of staff "kitchen closes in 10 minutes" sweet! After sitting down approach the bar to see what beers might be available "weve only got IPA" I mean ofcourse you do, in the middle of culinary diverse region why offer more than 1 effing beer. Having a pregnant wife I attempted to then purchase a non alcoholic beverage, more fool me "we don't have soda water and don't do lemon lime and bitters".....pretty sure even mc donalds has soda water. The pizza to its credit was decent but then again.... its pizza.....wouldn't rush out here theres loads of venues around that offer a vastly superior and diverse menu with frankly better staff.

this was a lovely place to stop with the family (two kids 8 & 5) and enjoy some lunch. The pizza menu was pretty good and we enjoyed both pizzas we ordered. Soft drink was a bit steep ($7) but I did notice they also put in a great kids playground since our last visit...so if you are looking for somewhere to enjoy a wine or beer as the kids are playing safely then this is your place. Maybe I’m a bit old fashioned, but I was a little bit put off by the fact that dogs are welcome in the main dining area indoors - I just don’t find this appropriate but again, this is just my personal choice. We would come back again as the kids really enjoyed the playground and the pizzas came out pretty quickly too.

This stunning but rustic/industrial resto promised so much. We loved being able to take our furry friend with us, but everything else fell way short. Very limited service ...we were not told to get our own cutlery and water etc from the station, and our wine order was completely forgotten ...and it wasn’t even one third full (Monday lunch time). The potato chips were good and hot, but the pizza was almost cold. We asked for it to be blasted in the pizza oven again, but it came back just as cool. And from my experience a pizza should have a crusty bottom. This was far from it. The topping was tasty and generous. Hope the service picks up.

We frequent this place alot because of the nice atmosphere and great pizza but noticed since the upgrade that service has gone out the window. And pizza was cold, uncooked and not tasty at all, even had different pizzas. And you can't add any toppings now! We rang a few days before and made a booking for the sunday. Only to be told when we arrived that we didn't have a booking. We checked our mail and they had booked us for the next month. Found us a table anyway, we asked if we could sit outside and were told no. We asked five minutes later as we saw spaces outside, and then were told ok. Took ten minutes to wait in queue to order. Pizza came within ten minutes but was cold and tasteless. I think now there just too busy to produce the same pizzas when they weren't as busy. I hope they sort it out as it was a great place to go.
