Lunch for 6 choosing the $80 three courses, all of which were delicious, beautifully presented, graciously served and every crumb enjoyed. The tender cuttlefish, juicy marron, plump duck breast with the amazing crisp skin, rankin cod and aerated cheesecake had the loudest endorsements. The setting is stunning and the staff are personable and attentive. Highly recommend.

We have dined at Aravina several times over the years, and have never been disappointed. On this occasion we came for a lovely leisurely lunch. We were welcomed and taken to our table by Ian, who we have met before and is always lovely to deal with. Brita was our waitress and she took fabulous care of us, she was very attentive without being intrusive. We opted for the $70 set menu but added a few extras. We started with Sweetcorn & Manchego Fritters, and our entrees were warm Marron & Cuttlefish salad, Ocean Trout pastrami both beautifully presented and delightful to eat. My husband had the Market fish and I had the Fresh Linguine with Shark bay crab, chilli , garlic & mascarpone, this was the absolute highlight for me, it was bursting with flavour and i enjoyed every mouthful. Our Food was accompanied by 2018 Chardonnay wish was a perfect choice and personally recommended by Ian. We always love visiting Aravina whenever we come to the region, and already have a reservation for our upcoming visit over Easter. Insta - sbradley0398

Four of us very much enjoyed our summer holiday lunch at Aravina. The restaurant was busy, but our service was friendly and efficient. The menu is not extensive but there was enough to please our palates, although the vegetarian who doesn’t like tomatoes had to settle for a couple of sides instead of a vegetarian main. The smoked trout entree was generously garnished with salmon row. The wagu beef main was tender, tasty and properly medium rare with a good carmelised crust. Outside the gardens were resplendent with the ubiquitous hydrangeas that Aravina has made famous. There was a folk singer entertaining the party crowds at the bar who were all taking advantage of the freshly shucked oysters on offer. There is a wine tastings bar, a surf museum and a well stocked home wares shop. Aravina is trying hard to be something for everyone. We were impressed and thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

After we arrived we were greeted by a friendly waitress who acknowledge our lunch booking. We advised her that we had arrived early so that we could enjoy a complementary tasting before our lunch so that we may familiarize ourselves with their wine styles. We chose the $70 two course set menu consisting of choices of an entre, main or desert. We chose the former two. My husband selected the Scallop Entrée and Aged Steak Main and I the Wagyu Beef Cheek Entrée & Gold Band Snapper Main. All Entrée & Main meals were beautifully presented and expertly executed to Professional Standards. Our taste buds were left tantalized by the meal flavours and by their expert execution. The seasoning was also on point which is so important. Wait staff were also very professional and attentive. The verandah setting was wonderful even though it was a grey day with the odd shower of rain. Thank you all for such excellent and exquisite food, wine and service. Bravo!!! PS the adjacent WA Surf Museum is definitely worth a browse around

Beautiful gardens and a water outlook lead to the Aravina Cellar Door, Surf Gallery and the Vineyard restaurant. We enjoyed a perfect weather day to experience this venue. The restaurant is quite large and has table seating alfresco and indoors and is disability suitable. All tables have magic views of the dam and gardens. The location was ideal for our luncheon. The Restaurant Menu is comprehensive with choices for people who only want something light for lunch, to full a la carte selections. We chose the lighter meals of the charcuterie board to share as a starter, which had tasty selections, and the rabbit and pork terrine was a highlight. We followed with the Chicken salad, which was an adequate serving. Having visited the Cellar Door before lunch for tastings we were aware of the Beverage list and chose glasses of the Chenin Blanc (A series) which was a good match to our meal selections. The service was friendly, attentive and we enjoyed a chat , learning about the Winery and the area. Thank you. A lovely and memorable luncheon at a delightful venue. Certainly Recommended.

Just visited the winery. Beautiful location. Very disappointing service at the cellar door. He was more interested in eating his pizza whilst serving customers. He had a very unwelcoming attitude and not a good sales man. Not very customer focused, which I should imagine is essential when working in a winery trying to sell wines!.

We chose Aravina restaurant yet again to celebrate our brother's 50th Birthday last weekend. Everything was so wonderful and a big shout and thank you to Tom the manager who really made sure we wesre accommodated. We cannot fault the level of their food, each dish was so delicious and that Pasta with the crab was out of this world. We are big Chardy drinkers, so we think Aravina's Chards is one of the best around. The girl who looked after our table was very well presented and was so helpful as some of us could not decide what to order. And thanks to the lovely lady at their cellar door who helped us through the wine tasting to help us decide which red wine we chose to take with us. We can never fault this vineyard, their staff are so lovely and the food WAS AMAZING. See you all again for the next birthday !!

Aravina is situated in the most magical setting overlooking beautiful gardens, the dam and vineyards and has a very relaxed vibe. A group of 8 friends headed their for lunch and everyone had the 3 course option which was delicious and brought smiles to all our faces. We were seated out side on the verandah by our extremely pleasant waitress who took our drinks order promptly. We all rated our entrees 10/10 with the trout, lamb and the octopus the standouts. The duck, crab linguine and market fish were the favourites for mains and all the deserts including the cheesecake, burnt peach and lime semi freddo were full of amazing flavours. All our meals were beautifully presented and the wines well priced. Overall a wonderful relaxed experience. .

We hadn't been to Aravina for a meal for a very long time and had no idea what to expect. The experience turned out to be excellent. The food was a revelation: great quality and excellent presentation. The beverage list is good, too, with plenty of options to choose from. Whilst the service was a little patchy, it was easy to forgive in the circumstances: they were very busy and the food was so enjoyable. We'll be back, for sure!

Aravina has always been a fantastic place for lunch. They should have stayed closed. What they served today was terrible. We had to wait an hour for a cold pizza. No table service. There was very little on the menu and the food a pub would be embarrassed to serve and grossly overpriced.

We had a lovely lunch but question value for money for the two courses at $70pp. We opted for entree and main and whilst my main of barramundi was good value for money my husband’s serving size of Ricotta Agnolotti was more entree than main size coming out with approximately 5 parcels of Agnolotti. Very steep for $70 for entree and main. However once this was drawn to the attention of our waitress, it was followed up with the Restaurant Manager who came to discuss our concerns, so cudos to all staff involved in our discussion. Would I recommend Aravina? Yes but be mindful of what you order.

Called for lunch with friends.....being Wednesday seemed rather quiet though. This place used to be the old Amberley Estate Winery and I have been many times over the past 15 years, but the first time since it has been run as Aravina. The first thing one notices is the road in. It traverses around the lake to showcase all the new buildings. Very impressive. A set menu..2 courses $70pp (one of either entree or desert with the main). The four of us opted for 2 entrees to share amongst 4, mains (3 x lamb, 1 x fish) with a side dish of beans and a salad, plus 2 entrees to share. Food sensational. A 3 course with matching wine each dish $130pp. Lunched at Vasse Felix the previous day and all agreed the quality of the food in both places comparable however the service at Aravina was lacking. The woman who greeted us entering was most helpful but the young chap who was charged with looking after us beyond that needs to be a little more attentive. Pleasant enough, but two instances of forgetting requests (with no apology) and needing to be reminded. No great problem for the 4 of us on the day but in the summer season when the place is "chockers" (as it does get) , he will need to present in a much better light to match the service in other places such as Vasse Felix. Will be back down in the SW in February and will call again

Today we had lunch at Aravina and enjoyed the complimentary wine tasting prior to our meal. Our host was Michelle, she was knowledgeable as well as very personable. We enjoyed a fabulous table out side with great live music. All of our meals were absolutely amazing, the service was attentive but not excessive. They contributed to a fabulous experience and wonderful afternoon. We will all definitely be back.

Visited this Vineyard as part of a group. We had pre-ordered our food and most in the group were served their food reasonable promptly. However, two in our group had t wait up to almost 30 minutes after the main group to receive their meal. Very disappointing service. Also, while part way through a wine-tasting experience, the host said she had to rush off and meet a very important person arriving in a helicopter. Apparently we were ot important enough for her to provide a proper service

A visit to this place is worth it just for its position and beautiful gardens. Of course it would be rude not to sample some wine. You will be charged but you can redeem that fee when you buy a bottle, and I am sure you will. Knowledgeable, pleasant staff. Also worth visit is the historical surf exhibition.
