Have visited many times over the years, Wills Domain is still my favourite restaurant in the South West. Excellent food, wine and service and an amazing view. Had the 7 course degustation - sensational.

Possibly the best food I have ever experienced! The service was faultless and the beautiful setting, one of the best in the south west. You will not be disappointed! Highly recommend!

Went for lunch at this wonderful restaurant, where we have been many times. Food and service is 5 Star! We had the 4 course degustation, which was ample for us. Food is imaginative, beautifully presented and with delicate flavours. We will return as the food...and service is good. This is an expensive lunch and there is a surcharge if you pay by credit card. We will not come again on a hot day. There is no air conditioned dining area. It is effectively “open air”. Which allows wonderful views across the vineyard and to the bush, but outside is too hot on a warm summer day. We were there for lunch and forecast Max was 35 degrees C, the persistent breeze was warm though very welcome. Next couple of days will be hotter. The indoor area, where we have eaten before and is air conditioned, was closed (partitioned off) and not available for lunch.More

What a fabulous experience! We enjoyed the 7 course degustation for my husbands birthday. Outstanding in every respect. Seated at a wonderful table with a little Happy Birthday card was a thoughtful touch. Food was perfection. Complimentary and contrasting taste and texture combinations made our...taste buds sing! We chose our own wine as we know what wine we like ( could be called fussy !! ) A favourite was the Pearl Meat amuse bouche…. Stunning to start……rock lobster was soooo good. I have a food allergy which was handled very respectfully. Service was gracious, friendly and professional All in all our dining experience was faultless. Of course the view is a most beautiful one…… Highly recommend Wills Domain.More

We have always wanted to try Wills Domain every time that we have been down south but never really have got ourselves organised. This time was different as we booked a table well in advance of our trip to Yallingup - the opportunity to dine...at one of the state's top foodie destinations was not to be missed. Wills Domain only offer degustation meals, either 2, 4 or 7 courses, with set dining times. They also require a booking guarantee for every member of your party but that shouldn't be unexpected for a quality restaurant these days. If you arrive earlier than your booking, they provide you with an option to do a free wine tasting. Definitely worth get there 20-30 mins early - we were treated to a leisurely tasting of our great selection of their wines by a very experienced and knowledgeable staff member. We went with a four-course meal ($109/person), without the wine pairing, as I was the designated driver and taken advantage of the earlier wine tasting. The house-made bread, with honeycomb shaped butter, with a delightful amuse bouche, awakened not only my pallet but was a visual delight - definitely an Instagramable meal, worthy of any one- or two-star Michelin restaurant. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, really extenuating the hero element, with the perfect accompaniment of supporting elements - the flavours were so unique and on-point. The Abrolhos Island scallops with smoked bonito cream, daikon and dashi, were amazing. Then the Ballingup chicken, parmesan custard and swordbelt mushroom, a taste explosion. The Arkady lamb, carrot, sheep yoghurt and coriander seed was a gastronomic delight. Our final course of Butternut pumpkin, anise and cinnamon myrtle was the perfect conclusion to lunch. My only criticism was that each dish was merely a mouthful and left me wanting to savour more and more. I actually finished the four-course meal still feeling hungry as it each plate was tantalisingly close to perfection. In hindsight maybe I should have gone the full seven-course ($179/person). Maybe then I would have been fully satisfied.More

Very annoyingly, we’ve tried to visit twice for wine tasting on two separate holidays and both times well before cellar closing time (3:30pm today), the door has been locked and a sign placed outside saying it is closed. There’s no option to even peek at...the beautiful grounds after driving out of your way to get there. If cellar opening times aren’t regularly stuck to, surely a notice should be put up on the website when closing time will be brought forward? In the meantime, call ahead to make sure they’ll be open when you plan to visit.More

Top notch 4 course degustation lunch with a nice Wills Cuvee Sparkling. Have been lucky enough to eat at a few Michelin star restaurants namely Le Vieux Pont in Bel Castel and Cafe Bras in Rodez in Aveyron and Wills Domain restaurant has the same...quality - we could not fault the taste, service and attention to detail even accounting for two of us who are GF. Thanks for a lovely meal- we’ll be back!More

I love degustation menus. They allow a chef to show case his talents. This would have to be the best meal that I have had in many years. A truely great experience of flavours and balances. Sensational. My compliments to the chef and staff.

We arrived early enough to do a wine tasting before dining. We went through to the restaurant where warmly greeted. After being seated, water glasses filled and menu cards and drinks lists read, fresh home-made bread brought out with their own butter shaped like a...honeycomb and containing honey and bee nectar. Amuse bouche was a delightful morsel to delight the palate and make us eager for the courses to follow - as it should. The cured red spot emperor was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked. This was followed by chicken with a Parmesan custard and mushrooms. Another feast for the eyes and stomach. Next was lamb which wasn’t up to the standard of the previous courses. Both I and my husband found it disappointing after the delights of the other courses. It just lacked something and wasn’t as melt in your mouth as we had expected. We then had toothfish which bounced us back to the high standard we were now expecting. An absolute delight. We finished with a pumpkin cake desert which was an excellent finish. Service throughout was excellent. Would we return? Most definitely when next down in the area. Highly recommended.More

We were lucky enough to enjoy the wonderful 7 course degustation menu at short notice. Firstly, thankyou to the restaurant manager; Sam; for welcoming us back at such short notice 🙏. Wills Domain has one of the best environs & vistas of any winery in...the Margaret River region - if for no other reason go there for a drink & soak up the view across the vineyards. The food is world class & this feedback is genuinely given. We are fortunate enough to have eaten at some of the finest restaurants in England, Australia, Indonesia & Singapore. This is one of the best. I will attach the menu. The locally sourced produce has been crafted into an indescribably beautiful gastronomic & culinary experience (Thankyou Chefs). Coupled with the estate’s delightful sparkling, Palladin Hill Chardonnay & Matrix Cabernet Blend this was a wonderful experience which we highly recommend. Big shout out to Sam & Melissa who gave us understated, friendly yet wonderfully professional service. Thankyou 🙏. We will be back.More

When we booked in for lunch we were advised via the website to arrive a little bit early and enjoy a pre-lunch wine tasting at the cellar door. This sounded like a great idea so we duly arrived about 20 minutes early for lunch and...were treated to an excellent tasting by the very experienced and knowledgeable cellar door staff member (whose name I unfortunately cannot recall). At the appropriate time a staff member from the restaurant came to advise us they were ready to receive us for lunch and she duly escorted us to our table. The setting was lovely. We were sitting undercover outside with a view over the vineyard. Menu was a four course degustation (that included house made bread and an amuse bouche) at $109 per person. The bread was tasty however the presentation of the butter in the form of a honeycomb layer was the thing that took our attention. There followed a tasty and attractive looking amuse bouche, a starter of cured black cobia with bonito, radish and lemongrass, an entree consisting of melon, mandarin, Davidson plum and coriander and the main of dry aged lamb with asparagus and pistachio. Dessert was whipped passionfruit cheesecake with mango and coconut. We enjoyed all of the dishes though perhaps my favourite was the lamb. Wine list consisted of a mix of their house wines with some museum releases also on offer. We had a 2020 Coveted chardonnay for $75. Sparkling water was $5 a bottle whilst coffees were between $5 and $6. Service was very attentive and friendly. Would absolutely visit again.More

We were a group of 9 attending lunch from the chef’s 4 course menu, and all agree it was as good, if not better, than anything previously experienced. The ingredients listed for each course were inspired, things that wouldn’t necessarily go together combined for repeated...taste explosions for each course. The service matched the food quality, as did the local wines so the whole experience was one that will live long in the memory, brilliant!More
