Friendly staff, good takeaway but lacking something.

We tried the pizza dogs as it was something we had never heard of before. It is a pizza rolled up like a calzone with a hotdog in the middle. The taste was rather good although mine was a little soggy with the crust due to all the trapped liquid. My girlfriend's pizza dog though was minus the dog so although it tasted good with the chicken it was basically a calzone. We also tried the corn roll and chicco roll which we had not had before, they tasted good but I wouldnt go for them again as they were a little doughy with the pastry. The staff were very friendly though and it's a shame that they have the business up for sale as it seems a lot of locals really enjoy going there. Even though this was basically the only place open on a Thursday night with not much clothes choice I would indeed go back to try something new from their menu.

The Best Pizza!!

We stopped here for pizza, because the last time we were in Walpole we had one from Flaming Hot & it was just the best! This one did not disappoint either - just the best pizza we've had since the last time we were here! One large pizza was more than enough for the two of us, so represents good value for money. We waited the 20 mins for it (were prepared for that), small price to pay for a freshly made pizza. They do prefer you call in your order so that they can have it ready for you, as they get extremely busy - if not, be prepared to wait! Extremely friendly owners & only too happy to adjust your order.

Great fish and chips

We dropped in to try the fish and chips and were amazed by the quality and the quantity of the fish. The fish was fresh, tasty, moist and cut into thick potions. The chips were also good but because there was so much fish we could only eat a few. The fish and chips for two could easily feed a small family. We come from Albany and this was much better than some of the best known ones there, and much cheaper.

Read reviews on this takeaway Cafe which were very complimentary. We decided to have fish and chips and ordered the special of 2 fish and 1 chips for $27.00. Well I was absolutely gobsmacked at the servings. There were 10 pieces of fish of reasonable size and a wad of chips. The fish was gold-band snapper (not your usual shark) and the chips were first-class. This serving was big enough for 4 adults and it was a shame for us to throw away what we couldn't eat and I can tell you we tried our best. Probably right up there with the best fish and chips I've ever had. Highly recommended.

Best Takeaway from Clean, Local shop.

Great fresh takeaway in a small town, during the middle of winter with minimal food choices in town. Menu extensive but fresh and cooked perfectly. Best pizza we’ve had for a long time, fish and chips generous serve, moist fish, batter has a crunch. Perfectly cooked. Much appreciated great little business, shop is extremely clean, therefore food will be perfect. Owner and staff very friendly and helpful. Very impressed.

We ordered 2 fish 1 chips and were AMAZED when we opened our paper wrapped parcel. Lovely battered fish and great chips freshly fried in new oil. Best in WA so far. Thanks ! And good pizza the next day. Highly recommend!!

Bloody beautiful fish and chips

Partner and I stopped for lunch, ordered “2 fish and chip”, bloody magnificent. Tasty, chunky, fresh fish, Beautifully cooked, crispy batter (not too thick), awesome crispy chips (not soggy), more than generous serving for two. Couldn’t fault it. Thanks very much!!

We had the "Two fish and one chips" and it was really generous - 8 pieces of fish. Excellent fish and batter. Generous with the tartare sachets too. Thoroughly recommend to anyone staying in and around Walpole.

We ate dinner x3 nights in a row. Food is very tasty, fresh and the portions are huge. There is a wide variety of food options available, we tried lots and no meal was disappointing - full and content after each feed. The prices are good and servings huge. The service is excellent and we left each time super happy. Quick service and they are busy every night. Definitely worth a stop for a feed.

Large meals delivered by friendly staff. The lasagne was very dry so we felt it was just a microwave reheat. The fettuccine carbonara was tasty but very watery. Would try here again as it was recommended & try the fish & chips next time.

Visited after recommendations from family. Drove over from Peaceful Bay and ordered the two fish and one chips serve for two of us. When we opened it up there were 10 pieces of delicious fish wrapped up with chips and a handful of tartar sauce. We ate it at the jetty and will definitely be going back again. Love the smaller size pieces of fish and definitely value for money!

Checked reviews for Walpole restuarants..hot an flaming takeaway stood out..thought I would test it out..not disappointed..absolute best fish an chips I have ever eaten an I don't usually eat fish an chips..it was amazing the serves are huge, fresh tasty, crunchy excellent. Be warned this place is popular it is best to order in advance try an ring but understand they are so busy they can't get to the phone..try an go there 30 minutes beforehand put u r order in an go do something else..small inconvienence for best fish an chips.

Rainy Sunday night, just arrived, didn't feel like cooking. Wow, one of the best takeaway fish meals we've ever had. So fresh and tasty, and huge servings. No-one could be disappointed with the quality, quantity, or service.

Ripping local trade - Ring up in advance for take away

This place does a ripping trade with the locals for take away. Best to stick with the fish and chips and or the pizza’s My souvie wasn’t the best but I’d easily give these guys my trade. The staff are friendly and they are ‘workers’, far from lazy. They know the business (It wouldn’t surprise me if it is owner manager). All the best to these good people!
