First time eating here and cannot wait to return . Our waitress Lucia was friendly and new the menu and wine list well . The prawns were the best that we have ever eaten .. the service was great … well done Isola .

My friend and I had the breaded chicken. It came out in about five minutes so obviously had not been cooked freshly for us. The chicken was very tough and had a strong flavour like it had been microwaved. The salad was tasteless. We mentioned...it to the owner (?manager) who did not really care. Typical attitude of a tourist location as there was another line up of folks waiting to come in. Not nice food at inflated prices.More

Ate here with a group of 5. Food was great. Highly recommend the lamb and the mushrooms. Service was quick and efficient.

Staff were fabulous as was the wine but the food (we had calamari and then the crab pasta dish) was very bland, overpriced and boring.

Our party of 4 mostly enjoyed our meals here. Quite a limited menu. Pricing is at Island rates and meal sizes do not match the appetite. We enjoyed our much better value Hotel meals more that also has a friendlier atmosphere.

Isola serves the most delicious, authentic Italian food. We ordered entrees, mains and dessert and were blown away with how delicious each dish was. I have eaten at many Italian restaurants and I can honestly say, this is the best Italian food I’ve ever had....The staff were super friendly and very accommodating to our one-year-old which made our visit even more enjoyable. The restaurant is situated right on the water and the view is stunning. I highly recommend dining at this restaurant!More

Absolutely fantastic delicious authentic Italian food and the chefs are from Italy. We had a fabulous lunch with spectacular ocean views. The staff were very friendly and accommodating with our baby. Definitely worth a trip for this great restaurant.

A wonderful dining experience. We’d had lunch at the Hotel two days before & were bombarded with pesky seagulls. One dived on our food & spilled two glasses of wine. How great to find this restaurant had protection against the birds. The food was exceptional...& the service outstanding. All seven of us loved every thing. it has been many years since my last rotto sojourn and i was pleasantly surprised to find that the island's culinary offerings have improved significantly during that absence - my dining experience at isola bar e cibo from the moment i was greeted on my...arrival was thoroughly enjoyable - the attention to detail with my drinks along with the obviously natural relaxed service by the staff was surpassed only by the quality of the meal - i chose the taglierini pasta and while the shark bay crab was certainly the highlight the remainder of the other ingredients as listed for this dish were given their opportunity to 'have their say' - a simple dish but very well executed by cooks who know how to 'keep things simple' - it looks like i will have to visit rotto more often so that i can taste more of this fine restaurant's fare.More

We had a lovely lunch with beautiful views over the harbour. Both the prawn and calamari entrees were delicious. Crab pasta very tasty, breaded chicken likewise. Only disappointment was the fennel and apple salad with the chicken, a few miserable pieces of green apple and...lumps of fennel hiding in a forest of rocket. Service was prompt and courteous.
