I made a lunch booking here and the customer service, atmosphere, food and drinks were top notch. From the moment you walk in, you feel that you’re being welcomed into John & Jan’s home. The view of the vineyard while you eat the delicious meals...add to the peaceful nature. All meals and coffee were just brilliant. I’d thoroughly recommend this spot.More

I am not the kind of person to talk much about food I eat. I have eaten in restaurants all over W.A and the world and rarely remember them. The food at Windrush Wines is a cut above. The menu is limited but still provides...good variety. The produce is fresh and the chef simply does amazing things with it. We had a starter, a main and dessert, all of which were so tasty. We didn't intend having three courses but couldn't help ourselves. The husband and wife team relax you as soon as you enter and offer wine tastings, good service, a lovely ambience and great food. We've been three times and look forward to going again.More

We called in for lunch on spec, and were rewarded with a top class menu and excellent wines, plus great service. It’s worth the few kms drive to get to Windrush, and the small but perfect menu makes great use of local produce. The oaked...Chardonnay was a wonderful complement to the meal. Recommended!More

The service was excellent, the cafe and toilets were very clean and bright Beautiful outlook The food was DELICIOUS we had 1 mains, 2 entree salads...and a dessert all were excellent flavour and a little bit differently served with ordinary ingredients the chef Jan certainly has a way with food Would CERTAINLY recommendMore

Views, wines, food and friendly service. The menu is always interesting , healthy and freshly prepared. Only frustration is menu is small and seasonal, so unless you just love eating same meals, you have to space out experiences. The meals are not only fine cuisine,...but beautifully proportioned. This is fine dining without the big prices. We always buy a bottle of wine - which is not inflated for table service - so three courses for two is c. $110.00. Décor is lovely, music always nice. Our favourite local dining in the Great Southern..More

The drive to this restaurant is delightful but it’s when you get inside and start eating that you get blown away. Jan is an amazing chef who turns out terrific meals- every time! We’ve had a birthday dinner there and recently our group’s Christmas party!...I have never eaten better. The paired wines are definitely worth a wee tipple.. or two. John can help select just the right one Togo with your meal or simply to delight your palate. I highly recommend Windrush wines and cafe to you ✅👍🏼More

We accidentally stumbled on Windrush while driving through WA on our honeymoon. What a happy accident!!!! As I am coeliac, the biggest surprise of all was a completely gluten free kitchen! And the wine was delicious. You have to go!

Sometimes it’s hard to pick a place to go when you don’t have a lot of time and there are many choices. We are so glad we chose Windrush. They have a small selection of quality wines and John said if he doesn’t like the...wine it doesn’t go on the shelf. If you can’t find one you love you’re not trying. However, the standout was Jan’s food. We both had the shepherds pie because we didn’t want to share. The pear in red wine and almond cake was a cracker and my recommendation. Do yourself a favour and try Windrush.More
