Like the title says really yummy food. I thought the kids would struggle to find something to eat as it’s a little fancy but they do a couple kids meals. Take some crayons so they can draw on the paper tablecloth. We had an early...booking and there were plenty families enjoying themselves.More

I’ve never experienced an owner treating patrons so rudely. Food average too. Don’t waste your money

Nice atmosphere, very clean, pleasant and hardworking staff and a food to die for. We had the goat tangine with couscous, sirloin steak with smoked sauce, bailey creme brulee, and orange chocolate mousse. Good shiraz too. Strongly recommended.

Celebrated my wife's birthday here. We shared the Pork Belly Bites for entree, had the Pasta Allo Scoglio and Sirloin Steak for mains and shared the Creme Brulee for dessert. All the food was exceptionally cooked and proved that fine dining can be had in...the mid west!! Well done to the chef and crew.More

We were in Kalbarri and the restaurant we originally booked was closed we tried on the off chance to have our meal Upstairs. What a lovely evening. From the time we were shown our table we were given excellent service from Shanika and then Tala....The ambiance was very clean, sheik and relaxing. The meals were very tasty and the deserts exquisite but a little pricey. We would definitely recommend going there for a lovely and top quality meal. Thankyou Tala.More

Went after seeing the reviews on Trip Advisor but left disappointed. Prices are high and the food was average. My wife’s fish was tasty but a very small serve. I had the Pork Belly which was a bit dry and had little crunch on the...Crackle. Drink prices were also very high. Service was good.More

Came across Upstairs Restaurant via TripAdvisor, the food was absolutely amazing, with a beautiful middle eastern touch, you have to try the steak & the goat! And the service really good too! Looked after by Tala herself, overall a great experience! Definitely a must when...in Kalbarri!More

Although not cheap we had a very nice meal here. Tapas and main meals were of excellent quality. We had the tagine and fish. We had an outside table overlooking the bay. The weather was exceptional the night we were there mid January. The only...disappointment was the children’s meals. On this occasion we opted for our children to have a children’s meal as we had been eating out a lot and the meals were pricey. They had chicken nuggets and chips but supermarket quality. A restaurant of this quality should be serving fresh chicken breast even in a kids meal. The desserts were also overpriced. We would not return to this restaurant with our children. Our bill can to $250 which was our most expensive meal on this trip.More

Beautiful setting with great views. The food was first class and the tapas dishes in particular were superb. Friendly and helpful staff and everyone works hard to create a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended. This could be Kalbarri's best.

We received a lovely, friendly welcome from the owner on arrival and the experience got better and better.... the young girls on staff were lovely and couldn’t be more helpful. Our table was located on the balcony overlooking the beautiful sunset. The food was amazing!...Fresh and yummy. The pork belly is amazing and my husbands steak was cooked perfectly. Not cheap but definitely worth it, I wish I took photos but we were too busy eating!More
