We have just stopped into Exhale Cafe for lunch. This was without a doubt the most expensive meal we have had during this latest trip to Exmouth however, the quality of the food and the generous serving sizes justifies the price tag. I ordered the frito misto, not something I generally order because I find it boring and floury but this calamari and king prawn meal was tasty, the batter full flavoured and delicious and the serving size was enormous! My husband ordered the Vietnamese prawn salad, it was a bit on the small side for a $30 salad but it was fresh, tasty and he would order it again. I ordered a baileys infused coffee frappe which was delicious and the waitress made a little too much so she poured the excess into a small glass and gave to my husband. So, it's definitely worth the visit to Exhale for a fresh, tasty meal.

As you can imagine, being as isolated as we are in Exmouth makes the logistics and cost of getting such amazing fresh produce very expensive but we have tried to keep our prices as reasonable as possible & am glad you could see the value in your meals. We had an early dinner here as my wife has wanted to try the dinner menu for a while now .
The kids meal was huge and we had to get a doggy bag , the chips were great .
The Japanese style oysters and Bloody Mary shooters was a perfect way to start for us , followed by the scallops, calamari and tuna .
Everything was fresh and very nice , wanted to try to octopus as it looked really nice , but maybe next time .
We will definitely be returning as it’s very close to where we live and if we decide to hit the cocktail menu ,then we can walk home .
My wife tried the gin and said it was lovely
The only thing I would like to see is maybe a few more beers to choose from even though I like the gage roads selection .
And some sake to go with the oysters would be nice too .
But yeah we really enjoyed eating here and will be back again for sure .

We had a very yummy eggs benny and mushroom and vegie crepe here while the kids waffles with lemon and sugar was also a hit. Delicious coffee and friendly service too. Would have gone again but it wasn't open the next time we decided to eat out for breakie :(

Went to dinner at Exhale during our trip to Exmouth. It was our first time visiting this restaurant. We ordered a few drinks whilst we were waiting for our food. My partners drink which was a basic Belvedere soda water and lemon came out wrong not once but TWICE. I ordered a glass of red wine which was clearly under the usual standard drink. After 40 minutes we received our mushroom entree to share which was delicious or perhaps by then we were starved so anything would’ve been. We waited over another hour for our mains which was the snapper and a steak. The steak had drops of red wine jus or should I say gravy. Terrible experience for the price we paid.

Spent $100 for a couple at dinner - walked away hungry. ie 4 baby potatoes for $16 as a dish ... would love to see bugger portions . Bit of a shame as the flavour was decent.

Sorry you were disappointed with your visit to our venue. We are a Tapas restaurant so the meals are designed to be small & shared between 2 people per dish. The flavours & layers that the chef carefully creates for each dish has given us an extremely good reputation & many repeat visits from both locals & tourists alike so it is a shame you couldn't see the value in your experience with us. Only recently opening for dinner this little place is great - small plates to share, beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. The scallops OMG! The warm baked Brie, mmm! The prawns, ahhhh! And to top it all off, Simmo’s ice cream.... IN A CONE - just because I could. The team were also incredibly friendly and helpful. We’re going back again this trip.

We had dinner at Exhale twice recently; once before sailing to the nearby Montebello Islands, then booked again upon our return. Both times the food was amazing, service first class and friendly staff and lovely owners. They had live music during our vigil last Wednesday and she was great too!
I can highly recommend the cocktails and all of the food; highlights are the calamari, white anchovies and the scallops.
You need to book… Adam is always happy to manage your booking and replies in a timely manner.
We will definitely come back to Exhale next year. These guys deserve every success!

Delicious food in a splendid setting, very helpful staff. The tapas menu was fabulous - an excellent range to choose from. Such wonderful fresh ingredients were put together to provide a memorable flavour combination. We went twice during a five night stay in Exmouth and would have gone a third time but it was closed that evening. The 8 Ball cocktail was the perfect drink to top off this wonderful meal.

Amazing selection and variety on the menu. It was hard to pick a favourite because everything was good. Go with friends and go hard because the portions are generous but it gives you the most opportunity to order a wider variety of dishes.
Down to earth crew and a very talented chef.

We lobbed in to this restaurant after we were unable to find a table anywhere else in town. It had a quiet and slightly rustic look so our expectations were low. They found us a table even though it was busy and looked after us. We ordered the chilli prawns, banded snapper and pumpkin + pomegranate salad. We were blown away! The prawns were juicy and flavoursome. I had the snapper and I don’t even particularly like snapper due to its mild taste, but this was knock-out good, bursting with flavour. We were even taken with the salad which was an unusual blend of so many ingredients but everything worked and perfectly complemented the flavours.
We were so impressed that we booked a table for the following night as we settled our bill, and the following night was just as good. Scallops and tuna tartare this time, which met our now high expectations. Who is this chef? She has talents rarely seen in city restaurants!
Don’t let the humble setting fool you. This is a top restaurant with a skilled and experienced chef. The few negative reviews are completely at odds with our experiences.

This restaurant does a dinner menu that’s a really interesting mix of tapas-style dishes. We had the calamari and chorizo; smashed garlic potatoes; fish tacos; and Exmouth bugs. The latter two in particular were outstanding. For dessert we had the chocolate brownie and the mango/passionfruit Eton mess. Both were excellent.
The staff clearly explained that the tapas-style dishes are served as prepared, as is common for tapas-style restaurants. The two guys beside us who complained about their meals arriving separately clearly didn’t pay attention.
We found the staff attentive snd efficient.
We’re visiting from Melbourne and this was the best meal we had in Exmouth.

Went out with a small group on a sunday night, heaps of indoor and outdoor seating, incense burning to keep away mozzies was very handy. Met our lovely waitress Jeanique who went above and beyond all night to ensure we had a fantastic dinner. Fresh seafood and the lamb was beyond amazing. For the 3 of us we shared tiger prawns, calamari, pear salad and the lamb and it was a perfect amount of food with nothing left on our plates. Finished off with a lovely brownie cup and we all left feeling very satisfied. Thanks again for the fantastic experience was not expecting such quality in exmouth.

We visited last year and visited again during our visit to Exmouth this month (we went twice this week)!. The menu has changed slightly in that it is more tapas style shared plates rather than ordering your own entree and main. We loved it as it allowed us to share and try more food. All food on the menu is gluten friendly or gluten friendly option (great for our gluten intolerant friend). The food is really amazing. The chef really knows what she is doing. Everything we ate was delicious! It's the best food we had in Exmouth and we ate at several places including Mantaray and Whalers. The service is also fantastic, the staff are so friendly and accomodating. The manager is an absolute star. She really makes sure that you are taken care of and you and enjoying things. I can't recommend it enough. Make sure you come here if you are in Exmouth. Thank you Exhale! PS, also great for your morning coffee (lovely oat milk lattes)!

Thought we’d have a quiet night out together and popped in to grab one of the few tables left available, how lucky were we? We had the warm olives, scallops, bruschetta and Japanese oysters (with a few Single Fins and a divine espresso martini). All the food was amazing, and who wouldn’t love Jodie, Adam and their staff for service with a smile. Great impromptu night out in Exy ✌️❤️ thank you

Nice cafe near the shopping centre. However only time I have ordered Eggs Benedict and had to pay extra for the bacon. $5.50 for 2 tiny pieces of bacon. They need to check out the true recipe for Eggs Benedict and not take advantage of diners. Not again.
