The Fish Shack is a great place for tourists and locals alike to stock up on fresh or frozen seafood. We had a good choice (5 or 6 types) of fresh cryovac local fish, frozen cryovac fish, prawns, crayfish, scallops and other products. There is a great range of sauces, tartare and simmer sauces for cooking fish and prawns. We bought a frozen marinara mix, some fresh Flametail snapper and a kilo of fresh cooked prawns. There is also large and medium bags of ice and bait. The staff member was both friendly and helpful. I recommend this shop to get your seafood from. Location is a short drive from the RAC caravan park.

We visited today 14 March 2024 to buy fresh snapper.
This place is utterly wonderful! We have never tasted snapper like it. We cooked it for dinner tonight and it was superb.
We can’t recommend this place more highly- and the lady who served us was also very competent and friendly.

Great prices. The shack is on a side road and there isn’t a big sign pointing to it from the main road but it is worth finding. Beautiful pieces of fresh fish in the display cabinet and of course Exmouth prawns (thawed and frozen) for a reasonable $28/kg

We mistakenly thought that being in Exmouth this place woul be something pretty special, but that wasn’t the case. There was a sign saying no fresh fish would be available until the next week due to winds and the person serving had never heard of Exmouth (or Morton Bay) bugs. Nothing special here and very high priced, but we did buy prawns and they were good.

Spoiled for choice! If you have cooking facilities, this shops has a great variety of fresh and frozen fish. The goldband snapper and scallops were delicious. Also all the necessary items (crumbs, lemons, sauces etc). Very friendly lady served us. Will definitely return.

It put me off to see every fillet of fish individually wrapped in plastic and labelled. Majority is frozen not fresh - for the fish truck I guess. Prawns weren’t wrapped, prices good but not very sustainable or environmentally friendly. Considering most plastic ends up in the ocean………

Stopped by as saw sign from the main road between the RAC and Ningaloo Caravan Park.
Great little find. Sells fresh fish and some sauces etc.
We bought 2 pieces of beautiful snapper and cooked in the campervan. Delicious!!
The girl serving from Victoria was very friendly telling us some good swimming spots and snorkelling spots.

Great seafood horrible customer service, really nice place, and great seafood and reasonable prices. Some really cool stuff to look at while the girl behind the counter gives you death stares, she must hate her job or something, havent seen a smile once

Don’t bother trying to catch fish just come here and buy fresh local fish it’s much easier. Prices are a lot better than Perth and you know it’s fresh. Very helpful people.

I was expecting freshly caught prawns for sale at the venue, and although the prawns were lovely, I was surprised to read the small print on the sign stating that they were thawed? There is also prawns, fish & seafood pre-packaged for convenience.

We visited twice and bought delicious Gold Band Snapper, freshly filleted straight off the boat. Likewise with some large prawns. Great value. Very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

I was able to purchase from their excellent range, some freshly thawed, cooked tiger prawns. They were delicious, and had me back there two more times, for more delicacies. Would highly recommend that anyone visiting Exmouth, and looking to purchase anything seafood, that they visit this establishment, in Pellew Street, as they will not be disappointed. Great quality and value seafood, from this family run business. 😋
