Whalers Licensed Restaurant is located amongst the landscaped gardens of the Exmouth Escape Resort. We offer the perfect relaxed dining experience to complete your visit to Western Australia's world famous Ningaloo Reef. A la carte breakfast and dinner is available. Liz Minniear and executive chef Paul Minniear have owned and operated Whalers Restaurant since 2007. In early 2014 they moved the restaurant from Kennedy st to the Exmouth Escape Resort where they can now offer a more comfortable, modern and lush setting for their diners' pleasure. This was a busy restaurant. We ate here twice and could have eaten again as the menu was great. The seafood was fresh and tasty the service friendly and on time. I was impressed given how busy the place was.

We stayed at the resort and ate here after a long drive from Broome. The food was fantastic and the staff were great. Highly recommended if you are in the area. You don't need to be a guest at the resort to use the restaurant.

No it is fully licensed. Great selection of Wa wines, craft beer including local Exmouth Whalebone Brewing Company and delicious cocktails
