After a tiring full day going down to Coral Bay for a day trip we were absolutely exhausted and starving. What better place
than Whalebone. Got back to Exmouth at 5pm and went straight there and ordered our pizzas and beers. Couldn’t decide on the huge selection of drinks so the barman offered us numerous tastes before we spent our hard earned $$$. We weren’t disappointed beer was fantastic and ginger beer was tasty. Pizzas came out teal fast being there early in the afternoon and they were some of the best I have ever had. This is a hidden gem nestled in the back streets of Exmouth. A very relaxing vibe with great beers and quality pizzas. We will definitely be back.

We pretty much ordered every pizza there was on the menu being a group of 30 and EVERY single pizza I had was delicious. Unfortunately, I couldn't try all of them but whatever I had, it was good - even the vegetarian ones. I generally love meat and seafood pizzas.
The pizzas took quite a while to come out but we were forewarned about the delay when we ordered. Totally understandable as pretty much the whole of Perth had descended upon Exmouth with the WA borders shut.
Definitely one to visit when you're in Exmouth. Won't go wrong. Pizza bases were cripsy (not floppy) and toppings were ample.

We decided to try the whalebone microbrewery in Exmouth .Wewalked from our hotel and was told there was a line to get in ,from a couple walking back , we nearly turned around and I am so glad we kept going.
Very popular in every age group , there were families with kids , grandparents and young people 18 to 20s .
The line was not too long to wait , we found a barrel , ordered wood fired pizza and tried there brew , whilst enjoying the band play. It was a lovely night to sit outside under the stars and chill .

After reading reviews was looking forward to going there.
Beers where great but the service & pizzas where a letdown
$25 pizzas where the size of dominos $5 ones
We ordered 3 x $25 ones one being the Beached as which was advertised topped with king prawns , dissapointed with the 2 half prawns the pizza contained.
Person cutting pizzas needs some lessons in cutting ,our where all different shapes and sized pizzas some with square bits im middle, when we commented to staff re the quality & quantity of pizzas we got vacant looks & shugged shoulders.

Awesome brewery with a great set up, plenty of tables in the outdoor setting. Bar is in the shed and makes for a great rustic feel. Perfect for a wood fired pizza washed down with a pint of beer, wine or a variety of other great beverages. The smell of the wood fired pizzas as you walk in is so good. They had a live band when we went, very friendly staff, great merchandise including jumpers, tshirts even bought my own 2lt keg to takeaway. Small play area for kids and plenty of toilets, parking out the front and easy to get to from town. Great pizza & beer in beautiful Exmouth so all round the perfect place to visit.

Tasty brews and delicious pizzas. We happened to arrive during a fund raising function and the staff were wonderful ensuring the beverages flowed and the food followed. Even on a busy night, there was no scrimping on the pizzas, all cooked to perfection and extremely filling. The beers were very tasty, my pick being the Lighthouse Lager, however the Big Bone came a close 2nd (with a late punch). The outdoor setting was a perfect way to enjoy the live music and setting sun. A must if you visit Exmouth

A wonderful place to chill out in the evening - a massive beer garden with plenty of tables and chairs (high tables and low tables). My husband and I arrived around 5pm to find the after work crowd already there. I dont' drink beer but after being given a "taster" I had a ginger beer - delicious with a hint of chilli (and alchoholic). After our beers we shared The Cheesy Bone (olive Oil, garlic, mozzarella, parmesan, oregano) pizza followed by The Loaded Bone (tomato sauce, mozzarella, spicy Bullara beef mince, crispy pepperoni, leg ham, capsicum, mushrooms, olives). Both were really tasty and filling.
In the background the band Dr Fish came on to play around 6ish - great music and a great relaxed atmopshere. Staff were friendly and efficient.
AND, prices were good and not crazily expensive.

Woodfired pizzas with toppings a little different from your usual run of the mill which was a pleasant surprise. Loved the beer, relaxed vibe, friendly service, the outdoor setting, firepit and the guy that was playing guitar and singing was superb - even tipped him a pack of beer for his enjoyment. Just wished we had stayed longer in Exmouth so we could go back.

if you love a beer, this is it.
Great range of craft beers, with a variety of pizzas to match any taste.
No bookings for tables, so best to turn up early or be patient for a table to become free.
Rustic industrial is the vibe and all the better for it.
Local musician playing covers and own music.
Quick service on pizzas and friendly knowledgeable bar service for the beer.
Great night out in Exmouth.
There's a really good ice-cream vendor at the door when you want something sweet to finfish off your visit. the mango and the chocolate are both good.

Brewing their own range of beers, they offer a tasting paddle with nine glasses of what they make. Mostly excellent. The pizza made here are wonderful. The beer garden is relaxing, well spaced and highly enjoyable. The only thing missing would be a bowl of fries to compliment the pizza.

Had two visits to this place both were equally enjoyable. Visited once with my wife for dinner and then went back again on another occasion when our friends arrived because we enjoyed the relaxed and chilled out atmosphere. Pizzas were great but we're out of prawns for the seafood pizza which was disappointed. Apart from that worth a look.

Was a tad excited as A - it’s a brewery and B - it’s a brewery lol . Rated highly , and looked good on the website . Ok so the venue is in a industrial area ( you would always love a venue where u can see the beach ) .It had too many large tables , not really catering for couples , or with kids . It’s a dust bowl , you would love lush green grass being a venue with no view, I dunno It’s just my opinion. My wife lined up to just order pizza, for a good 15 minutes and she was first in line lol . Not sure what the go was there. I grabbed some drinks and they were out of my favourite ale the Pale. Substituted for a lager which wasn’t that cold in the glass . The ginger beer was the same . Pizzas came out , had nice fresh ingredients, they had the flavours but the prawn pizza was well overcooked and the other had fennel in the topping ( not our cup of tea ). I’ve been to a heap of brewery’s , but didn’t compare them to this one. I compared it to froth also in Exmouth. Customer service was exceptional at Froth and had the atmosphere. Even thoe it’s in a crap spot aswell .
I dunno just was a downer , even went to get takeaways of the ginger beer and they don’t do them yet . Only wanted three things lol and didn’t hit the mark.

The first time we came past it was mega busy and had no seating. Came back the next night earlier with friends and got a great bench table right by the kids play area. Limited menu as pizza only (and not the best pizza I’ve had) but the kids had a great time playing in the digger pit and was a great quick/cheap feed.

Staff very very friendly and accommodating. Wife asked about the cider being sweet or dry and was given a taster. The seating is outside but there was shade and mist sprays to help with the heat.
There were 9 beers on tap and plenty of canned choices in the fridges. I tried all on offer and was happy with range.
The selection of pizzas was great and it was a very tasty feed.
The brewery opens 1600hrs each day. This would be great in the cooler months with a beer ,band and pizza.

We loved this chilled out location. We went on a Sunday arvo/night for dinner with our kids and another family and loved it. They had a band playing that night, good chilled acoustic guitar which was perfect for a Sunday arvo. Pizza’s were excellent with a large variety of toppings, and the WA brewed beers were excellent!!
