With gluten and diary intolerances in our family, eating out can be really tricky. We found ‘ The Social Society’ and the food was heavenly ! There was no almond and orange cake in sight yet a whole menu of exciting brekkie and lunch options. The chilled and beautifully mannered staff were patient and kind with the children as they tried to decide what to have. My gluten intolerant daughter beamed when her pancakes came .... they were delicious and pretty ! Thank you. It was worth coming back twice for brekkie and if we had been staying longer in Exmouth we would have visited each day. 🥰

Good Vibe and Good Food

We went here for breakfast and had very generous portions of eggs benedict and avo with egg. The food was delicious, the coffee was good and the staff were lovely. We aren't vegan or vegetarian but it certainly caters heavily for these dietary requirements. Overall, a place worth going. Can be extra busy on Mondays and Tuesdays when a few other breakfast places are closed.

This place serves the best carrot cake in town and the staff are awesome. I’m always made to feel like I’m a special customer and I love the atmosphere, vibe and eclectic decor. Great products for sale too. 😍

Stale bread roll and tasteless food

We tried to eat lunch here. I had a vegetarian hamburger which consisted of a stale roll that I could neither chew nor cut with an absolutely tasteless, gluggy bean patty and a few baby rocket leaves. There were pieces of potato on the side. After three bites I gave up. With this I had a milk shake which was OK but cost $8.50 and was relatively small. My wife had Avo on sourdough- the bread was tough and it was just smashed avocado with a little pepper. Again not good. The meal for two of us was about $62

If you are a tourist don’t bother.

Ordered takeaway and try to order vegan cheese toastie, they had bread they had cheese , waitress replied “nah” saunterered away couldn’t give a rats. had a wrap it was ok. Asked about takeaway as people before and after already served and left. Takeaway on counter, girl said she called it 15 mins earlier, even though she knew where we were waiting. Some staff shouldn’t be in hospitality as they don’t understand concept.

We had a most enjoyable wholesome meal and fresh juice here. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Perfect spot for fussy vegans and vegetarians eg they even have paleo bread options :)

Great vibe

Really funky interior and great shop inside the cafe, go get yourself a cheeky gift while waiting for your coffee. The cafe was heaving for a Thursday morning and there was a little bit of a wait, but the staff were friendly and the food was well worth it. Plenty of veg options and can cater for gluten free, I was kinda overwhelmed with options and absolutely need to head back in to try out the other dishes I was struggling to choose between.

Great quirky cafe in Exmouth township

Like other reviews, we found this cafe a delightful place to start the day. Nice breakfast and pretty good coffee. The staff are mainly foreign backpackers which gives it a real international feel to it. Love it. Recommended.

Great vegetarian friendly breakfast in Exmouth

Social Society is a casual, vegan and vegetarian friendly cafe at the Ross Street shopping centre in Exmouth. Opening hours are 6.30am to 2pm daily. There is cozy indoor seating and a few tables onside as well. We had a very impressive breakfast here and picked up delicious cake slices on a separate visit which were enjoyed back in our motel room. For our breakfast, we ordered the Spiced Smashed Pumpkin and Shrooms both served on sourdough and loaded with fresh ingredients, intelligently combined & beautifully presented. Both ordered tasted great, as did the long black coffees served on the day. We were quite surprised to find a vegetarian friendly meal of this calibre during our trip up the coast of WA and will gladly return for another meal or two if we are able to visit the area again in the future.

Unusual place but great coffee and food healthy selections

Really popular stop to drop in for a quick snack and coffee, or dine inside or outside. You can do some shopping inside the store while you wait. Best coffee I’ve had in Exmouth to-date and judging by the stream of people coming through to door, they must be doing plenty right.

Great food in Exmouth

This cafe was the first place we went to when we arrived in Exmouth starving and desperate for a good meal. We knew nothing of the food scene in Exmouth. Honestly we expected standard small town food. Thats not what we got at this cafe. The food is fresh, delicious, and satisfying vegetarian or vegan if you want. We are not vegetarian. It was our favourite place to eat.

This place was recommended and you could tell how popular it was! So busy. We went for breakfast and jagged a table as a couple left. Others not so lucky. Breakfast cost $57 for two including tea and coffee. Portions were generous. Staff not so friendly but efficient. They were very friendly to the young locals that came in, lots of hugs and kisses! Unite a few people just having coffee while using their laptops or reading a book. You can buy clothes and accessories too. We liked it overall.

Great food that catered for the whole family. it is a vegetarian cafe but that didn’t stop my husband from loving the chilli eggs. He thought they were divine! I had the harissa and avocado eggs which were also delicious. The kids loved their banana smoothies. Favourite cafe in Exmouth!

Surprised the old boy

Didn’t really research this place for breakfast. But looked busy , so that is a good sign. The old man wanted a big breakfast, he got one a bit different than he usually has lol . No meat . But surprisingly he enjoyed it and enjoyed the flavours . Coffees were delicious, as was my breakfast toastie and the young one’s milkshake was real and not syrup . Only thing was the kids menu said pancakes & they were banana pancakes which unfortunately the young one doesn’t like . But will definitely be hitting Society up for a leaving coffee for the drive.

What a treat!

This cafe is the best! The staff are so friendly even when under the pump! Went there for breakfast and well worth waiting for a table, once we were seated and ordered there was not a long wait ... and the food is amazing, especially if you like good healthy food and the chai was divine. Some great products in the store too!
